I get that some people dont want to miss a game. Its a shame I think that we couldnt just have 1 game where literally no one goes but its never gonna happen. But equally, I am not sure how constructive it is to just say that you wont be told what to do, or stuff about backing the team etc. So @M_B and @chaddyrovers the question to you both is not whether you are boycotting or not, we know you arent as its been repeated. I think it would make a pretty boring thread if we just all said what we are doing individually. What are your feelings on the protest movement? Are you both desperate for Venkys to go? Do you think its a good idea to try and start a not a penny more movement both to starve the owners of money and to raise publicity, or if not, why not? Do you see it making a difference? Id like to know your opinions beyond just telling us what you are doing personally, often in a way that comes across as purposefully provocative. -

For the greater good Chaddy, wake up and smell the coffee, they are driving us into oblivion ! I can understand you attending, I’m been a ST holder for over 40 years and it will hurt me to miss but at the very least, can’t you just support the Watford boycott. -

Did his carer make a comment. Lots of people have seen their team win the title, it was contested before the premier league was formed -

People will only offer what they think he Club is worth to them They will never reimburse Venkys for all the stupid mistakes they've made. That just never happens. This an ailing business and would be priced accordingly. but keeping it, simply means Venkysv have to put millions in every year just to keep an ailing business afloat. Like much about Venkys there is no logic in it. -

Give it a try and try and make it work, none of us know what the outcome will be. However, after 15 years, we will at least be trying to force the change necessary to save our club ! -
NAPM, only way to go to get rid of these leeches after 15yrs, enough is enough Massive well done to Glen et al for sticking their heads above the parapet again, takes balls and a lot of effort and gives me faith that there are enough people who love this club to keep it alive after the wretches have gone

I know I said I wouldn't comment yesterday but feel very strongly that this need pointing. We are all Rovers fans and we all have our positions on the range of the issues. I will say this, no-one SHOULD be slamming or calling anyone they are Venkys side cos they want to still attend games and back the players and the team. Just to be very clear and straight, I will be attending games and backing the players and the team. I want to win games and I want to support my club and I don't want to go down to League 1. That's my choice and if others are doing the same, then they SHOULDN'T BE slagged off and moaned at for doing so. This is a personal choice. Now if people want to not attend games and have NAPM stance then that's is their personal choice equally they shouldn't be moaned at either. I could see Venkys appointing a new CEO prompt and taking Pasha out of the firing line for abit -

I’m not talking about not attending. Lots of fans never attend but want the team to succeed. Surely all Rovers fans want that? -

NeasdenRover7 HRS AGO I can’t stand all this negativity. I believe we are privileged to be Blackburn Rovers. How many people have seen their team win the title, apart from those who support a big city club? Okay, the owners are not perfect, but we could have much worse. Look at Sheffield Wednesday. Rudy, Val the boys are trying to build something new. So let’s show some back bone and support our team. You did when they were winning the title, and now the club needs us more than ever. Blackburn expects that everyone will do their duty and attend. How about this one?!!!!!!! -

Thanks Glen (and thanks theRoversGRL). I love Blackburn Rovers, love going to Ewood, love taking the kiddie winks and I don't want to stop that. I also don't think the venkys care if fans don't come, if the fans don't spend money, if we went bust. It would all not matter as they don't care at all about Blackburn Rovers. The only way to hit them is in India. Embarrass them there. Then they'll care. Get messi / Ronaldo etc to say they think Blackburn are a joke and the venkys are a joke then they might be embarrassed (I say this but mostly in jest). But us not going to games does nothing but impact us as fans, the youngsters who should be learning what it's like to support Blackburn Rovers. I want the venkys out, but I just don't see this doing anything. In fact I only see it embolding pasha. Less boes at the games. Easy ride. -

You can want the team to do well, and not attend. It doesn't make you any the less of a fan. -

I've been boycotting for 15 years. A line has been drawn in the sand and it's time for fans to choose what's actually important. Is it going to watch a team, any team in any division, playing in blue and white shirts every week, or is it wanting an actual future for the football club they claim to support? I would suggest that if a fan actually cares about the past, present and future of this club, town and the wider Rovers community then they will back an organised action to try and remove the people from the club who are responsible for running the place into the ground over the last 15 years. Not backing these efforts tells me that you don't give a toss about any of the above things mentioned and don't have any real pride in Rovers or Blackburn. 15 years ago I was calling for a total boycott and I've stuck with that ever since. Venkys have never had a penny from me. I have had no part in subsidising their destruction of our club. I have always backed any efforts to remove them and always will. If that's taking "the moral high ground" then whatever. I call it having principals and sticking to them. -

You’re damn right we need to start winning. The battle against the owners shouldn’t detract from the fact that we want the team to do well. Anyone who doesn’t can’t really call themselves a fan and may as well toddle off and support someone else. -

If that's how you see it, you crack on. I knew you'd be one of the first up on that moral high ground. By the way, it isn't called boycotting if you weren't going in the first place. It's just called not going.
