  1. Past hour
  2. well regarded by hibs fans,he`s big lad who i don`t think you`ll see flying down the wing, must be more defensive minded than brittain, got a huge long throw on him apparently which might be part of vals planπŸ™‚
  3. So tonight Boro are stronger, Rovers are weaker and Venkys are a permanent disaster.
  4. Yeah , at least they're halfway there. Ismael said it was emotional leading up to Britain leaving, there's no doubt he wanted to keep him.
  5. it was far to late,if they`de bothered to offer him a new deal last season i think he`d still be here, but as we`ve debated, venkys don`t do contracts, they just sell everyone who is worth a fee, though at least they seem to have realised that letting players walk away for nothing is extremely stupid
  6. Hopefully he stays around longer than Patrick Anderson
  7. If we are talking time at other clubs it would be Dahlin, surely?
  8. Martin Olsson and Patrik Andersson!
  9. Michalski signed a contract in January, although as he has now turned 18, he can now sign a longer one * Him signing a contract in January was a strange one, as he turned 18 in March, so could have then signed a much longer deal
  10. Its all well and good having an attacking player given cameos. But having an 18 year old untested 2nd choice keeper is a different story. Its a risk we cant afford to take. Im sure he is doing well in training but if he becomes 2nd choice, you cant convince me that the decision would be anything but financial.
  11. Looking forward to seeing him. Never seen played. So can't commit on the player ability. He was impressive in his Rovers interview
  12. To be fair, they are totally different situations. Walker is older and his game was heavily reliant on pace. That is on the wane and his performances have fallen off a cliff in the last couple of years. Xhaka towards the end of his Arsenal career really improved and played an integral role at Leverkusen especially in their title win. They didnt seem keen for him to go.
  13. I suspect Michalski might be in the Tyjon boat of needing to integrate them into the first team now to maximise value and persuade them to resign. Could be difference between the 1 mil Arsenal are supposedly offering and a few million in a couple of years if we can get them to sign without an Ash Phillips clause.
  14. Arguably, Patrik Andersson would probably be the best we've had, based purely on what he achieved after his spell with us.
  15. Marcus Olsson Marcus Antonsson Yasir Ayari. He should played more here. He had quality
  16. I would've go that far. Not saying the Swedish players we've had have all been terrible. But if I was to name a 50 strong squad of my all time favourite players, I very much doubt there'd be a swede anywhere near it.
  17. Well be was better than Martin Dahlin in blue and white put it that way.
  18. https://x.com/JPercyTelegraph?s=09 Michalski is very highly rated and has played some England games for their younger age groups. So I'm happy to have second choice but if Pears does go then we need another keeper. Clearly Michalski has impressed Ismael and the staff for him being ahead of Pears Every club does it. That's good to hear. I've never seen play but I'm happy how we had Brittain's replacement in the building and agreed before Brittain left. After listening to his interview he seems very focus and driven. Looking forward to seeing him play
  19. I've (amazingly) managed to avoid all cricket scores/threads through this series and have watched the highlights every evening for every test without knowing the score. What a fantastic series and what an advertisement for the 5 day game.
  20. Call me old fashioned, I've waited for Adam Armstrong's direct replacement for a long time!
  21. You never know, mate... Whilst I loved Brittain- what a tidy footballer, great feet.. However wasn't the most athletic... there should be plenty of guile and aggression next season.. Think it's imperative we keep Travis (which we won't!)
  22. He didn't want to sell him, he said they offered him a deal but he wouldn't sign it and wanted to go. Regarding Miller, I'll have to watch him a few times at least before making a judgement.
