  1. Past hour
  2. Difficult to imagine you could hate someone that badly.
  3. By the end of next summer, we will wish we had a first 11 of players as good as Dion Neve 🙂 The downgrade is ongoing
  4. Is it not better though to try and make headway BEFORE we get to the stage where bills aren't paid etc?
  5. Imagine finding a ticket for that in your Christmas stocking 🎅
  6. The biggest issue Rovers fans face in "selling the protest" is Venky's haven't yet failed to pay a bill. There's nothing anyone in authority can do to address owners with no ambition, no empathy, no drive... just so long as they keep paying the bills. Once staff/players aren't paid, HMRC issues winding up orders, local businesses' bills aren't paid, THEN you get real traction from other clubs & most importantly the media. As things stand we are caught in a cleft stick - we recognise the direction of travel but unless & until it results in breaches of regulations/legislation we risk coming across as entitled & consequently will struggle to win hearts & minds of the neutral IMO.
  7. 😄 mental isn't it. Genuinely feels like an obligation at this point rather than something I look forward to, imagine I will bin it off at the end of the season unless something changes. Can you imagine the state of this squad after another summer window that Rudy and Pasha oversee? A first 11 of Dion De Neves, no thanks.
  8. Think there's far too much hand wringing and worrying going on about whether or not a boycott will be a major success. We won't know until it's tried but for me if we do nothing the Club dies. If the take up isn't as good as hoped, never mind, move onto something else and/or try again when conditions are different and take up might be more favourable. At the very least organising a boycott brings the issues firmly into the public domain even if initially take up isnt as high as hoped.
  9. No idea how reliable a source this is, but that is quite frankly hilarious. What a shambolic appointment.
  10. Get your tickets for a question and answer evening with Ismael at Ewood..think I'll book the day off! 🤡
  11. And we're still here a decade later. Fair enough for Blackpool they got through it, I bet they couldn't give a damn about us now they are sorted though. Just the way football fans are.
  12. The Crickets - More Than I Can Say
  13. That wasn't about not spending on the concourse though. That was about being united and and bringing to light piss poor ownership
  14. George Michael - One More Try
  15. Yep I remember it, over 2k of them still bought tickets to go in and spent money on the concourse though.
  16. Blackpool fans at Ewood. You'd be surprised at who is willing to help out especially when they've been through it
  17. I bet they don't. Football fans generally only really care about what is happening at there own club, despite the calls from there supporters trust I imagine they will treat it as a normal game and still turn up in fairly decent numbers, and buy plenty from the concourse. Would love to be wrong, but I just don't see it.
  18. Today
  19. I won't be missing any Saturday games as I have already paid for them. I am happy to stroll in late though if a (sensible - 15 mins 150 yrs, 18.75 mins etc) target time is organised. This tactic was effective for Wolves the other week which was on TV and elicited some explanations of the reasons to viewers. I would do this against Wrexham which is on Sky and will have exposure in USA due to their owners. I don't attend midweek games due to travel and really only have a ST as it guarantees away tickets and I am even less prepared to miss these. Also think the manager is plotting his exit by stating his requirements for January which he probably knows will not be met with adequate players. He will soon have been here longer than most of his other appointments.
  20. Well they understand the position we are in, and it’s about time solidarity in football kicks in between two fanbases. They will happily boycott.
  21. Hameed was only a young lad when he played test cricket. I would give him another go at it.
  22. But his bowling isn't that England batsmen should fear. He's no Glenn McGrath or Paul Refifle. The top 3 batsmen used of footwork is very poor. Pope appalling shot, not at pitch of the ball, Duckett did his feet move to Lyon, Crawley not in position to play a defensive shot
  23. Just won't happen. When there and in the moment, when they are in the concourse 90% of fans will buy something without giving it a second thought.
  24. I understand the sentiment but out of context the first two paragraphs are extremely funny
  25. I take another Michael Vaughan or Ian Bell or Jonathan Trott at 3.
  26. https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/sheffield-wednesday-told-to-avoid-doing-one-thing-for-blackburn-rovers-match/ Wednesday helping out
