  1. Past hour
  2. Good news, that'll help cover Waggotts next bonus 😭
  3. Charles Mingus - Goodbye Pork Pie Hat
  4. The fact they’ve sat on that for what, five years, says everything about this regime. Such a simple but meaningful change and they couldn’t be arsed as they have absolutely no feel for Rovers or its heritage.
  5. For me he’s a sign of the the post-PepBall future. He isn’t interested in the safe option, always looking to get the ball in to dangerous positions and to turn the opposition (even if he loses Palace possession at times)- the exact opposite of what the likes of Grealish have been turned into.
  6. I've watched Wharton a lot this season and thought yesterday was one of his okay games.....Amazing you still see great comments about him based on average performances...He's going to the very top!
  7. You don’t think agree that clubs take advantage of other clubs in a poor financial position. Oh, Chaddy.
  8. Disagree with this, I think Pep is one of the more humble managers when it comes to loosing, especially in this press after games...Henderson is a wind up merchant and for me should have just kept his head down instead of giving it the "I am"...He shouldn't have been on the pitch for Christ sake.
  9. Mind-boggling that one.
  10. Henderson made 6 or 7 saves. Penalty and one where I was sure it was going in the highlights. The rest were high quality too. Agree with your general point though and I'm happy to see pace and width coming back. The ball pulled back from the byeline is still the most dangerous in football.
  11. That O’Reilly had the best chance in the second half but by the time he’d switched the ball from being a right foot shot onto his “ favoured “ left foot the chance had gone ! I despair of modern footballers that are so one footed. What do the do in training ?
  12. I hope for Palace win for a different team to win something.
  13. I was thinking that. It was definitely outside the box and it was a definite handball.
  14. No I dont agree cos none of the top 6 wanted to buy him plus I think move to Palace was a good one for him cos he played regular PL football instead of being on the bench bigger club. It was right move for him and if he moved on we get around £9m so his fee will be around £31m witn the adds on He has shone and 18 months his next move he is ready now for that next step. A move to Liverpool would be good move for him in my opinion. You witness the development of Curtis Jones this season under Slot.
  15. Bobby Charles - Small Town Talk
  16. Hasn't she retire instead of being made redundant?
  17. We really played hardball there didn't we. Palace took advantage of our dire financial situation - that's the bottom line. If you don't agree fine but that is the fact which underpins the whole debate.
  18. Palace in Europe so I hope Adam decides to stay for another season. That would prevent Venky's getting another immediate windfall to flush down the toilet. They can then use the famous 'no impediment' route to fund the club.
  19. That's what @unleadedsaid and I believe him over supposedly rumour
  20. Worth noted we rejected Palace's first bid. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5224892/2024/01/25/crystal-palace-adam-wharton-transfer-blackburn/ Going to Palace was the right move for him playing time wise instead of moving to a bigger club straight away. Liverpool now after him https://onefootball.com/it/notizie/liverpool-considering-formal-bid-to-sign-21-year-old-premier-league-star-report-41123246 And Read Madrid aswell https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/another-englishman-real-madrid-spanish-giants-scouting-adam-wharton-crystal-palace-performances-liverpool-monitor-midfielder/blt2a9f8bf17f0ce683
  21. Why wasn't a free-kick given for handball ?
  22. I honestly can't remember many clear cut chances for City and again, from memory most of their six shots on target were from outside the box. The service to Haaland was poor in my opinion particularly the lack of balls into the box where he is dangerous. Tactically Palace got it spot on for me as they denied City space to run in behind. Palace can play some good stuff but yesterday showed that there are more than one way to win a match and ultimately that's the most important thing.
  23. Yeah, it was absolutely wild, that!
  24. A good thing might be, is that Pratt is one of those old fashioned center halves.
  25. though I cannot believe that Henderson stayed on the pitch....extraordinary.
