They dont really believe that. The evidence is there, whenever a bigger attendance than normal turns up these players freeze and play like they have never met. Just usual club jargon talk. -

They dont need to, that's the whole point of online ticketing surely. Anyone who wants to buy a ticket over that period does so of their own volition at their own risk and anyone needing an unexpected refund can surely wait until the ticket office opens again?. -

So it makes a mockery of how they constantly say how the fans creating a good atmosphere and turning up to support the team, is so important. They have actively prevented them from doing so, for this game. -

When money is incredibly tight and half your recruitment team doesn't like a player - either your need to shrink your recruitment team because they don't know what they're talking about, or you don't bid for the player as there isn't a consensus. -
Stoke have offered free coach travel to away games for years.

I disagree with Revidge on Tronstad but amazingly can respect his opinion... Personally would like midfield 3 of Tron, Cantwell and Baradji especially if we stick with wingbacks and 3 cb. I don't think we will even offer Tronstad a new deal (at least nothing realistic) and I have an awful feeling that we are being used to get Baradji fit and in the shop window for someone else to make a chunk of cash. Tinfoil hat - hopefully but it just feels that way. Have any actual details of our "option to buy" been released/leaked? Can the player himself agreed to "a contract in principle" or is that also up in the air? -

That's the top and bottom of it. They didn't want to go to the expense of employing staff/opening the ticket office over xmas. Sod any customers who actually might want to buy something. The whole operation down there is pathetic. -
I think that's a class move surely away coaches don't cost that much for deep pockets

The only difference is, and its stretching, is that the club opens up again before any of those games, so can deal with any enquires before the game or refunds if someone can't make it etc. They have 100% been taken off sale because the club isn't open again before the game, I think thats all there is to it. It's stupid but thats this club all over. -

Daughter's rung as well, bloke said it will probably be a no, but I'm going to ask the question because loads have rung up and it's ridiculous what Rovers have done. He said it probably depends if they have the staff to do it. -

Me too, but let’s face it, they wouldn’t do it again, if that did happen. -

Not sure if anyone else has mentioned this specifically but it appears you can buy home tickets online for Wrexham and Charlton without the need for the Club being open per se. So, if it isn't Wednesday's doing, what's the difference between those games and the Wednesday away game other than Rovers being peevish towards our own fans? -

Well assuming it is entirely Rovers fault, I would be claiming the value of a sell out. Granted that was unlikely to happen, but thats tough and would teach them a lesson. -

The problem there is - how do you put an accurate estimate on the number we WOULD have sold? Bit of a "How long is a piece of string?" question -

Well, according to Wilesden we're in breach of EFL Rules so whilst Im not sure what the range of possible sanctions are, maybe they could fine us or order us to compensate Wednesday in some form? Even a formal slap on the wrist with the threat of a suspended sanction might be enough to prevent this sort of thing happening again to Rovers Fans. -

If there is an option to buy then the terms have already been agreed and signed off by both clubs, the player, agent etc The only way he doesn't sign is if Rovers do not trigger the option, which given who runs the club, is a possibility There is the possibility that he is one of the stand out players in the Championship and a club with more finances fancies taking him, in this case he would still be legally obliged to sign for Rovers first (assuming they trigger the option), who would then sell him on at profit. The main issue is Venkys/Pasha/etc moving the goalposts on us again by changing the budget/project etc, but barring a ridiculous act of self sabotage (*), he will sign for Rovers by the end of the season * which with our owners is a possibility -

Think it's just playground stuff trying to force people into buying a few more home tickets but of course - as per the facebookers - It'll not be anybody at Rovers fault.
