Is it me or is every tackle a push or a grab. Very handsy this Preston team. -

If he hadn't scored those tap-ins Gudjohnsen would be with be in the Kargbo and Tavares tier of useless. -

I just wonder if Toth would have got the same criticism. Somehow I doubt it. Anyway, this game reminds me of Derby, just up against a physically stronger side, even though we were ok that 1st half. Do worry a bit for us in the 2nd 45 -

Ohashi's workrate is off the charts, always running and pressing even if he is getting nothing to work with. I genuinely forget Gudjohnson is playing most of the game which is not good. -

Good approach play, nothing at the end of it sums us up -
I don't think he's hyped by any of the coaches - we'd never heard of him as fans until last year. I think they're just desperate for another Academy player to come through / smarting from Wharton's success so they've pinned their hopes on him. He's no better than Duru, Powell, Pratt in terms of being a fringe player that probably needs a chance, but most likely aren't going to make it at this level.

There were 5 or 6 players at fault there for sure. -

Pears is poor for the goal but there’s enough chances to snuff that out before he even becomes an issue -

Montgomery embarrassingly way out of his depth. Keep saying it but one of the most over-hyped players to come through the academy. Needs hooking at half time. -

He comes rushing out into no mans land and does absolute fuck all to deter or stop the shot. Fucking useless. No brain, no awareness. -

Pears shouldn't have even needed to be anywhere near the ball, that's on the defence I'm afraid not him. I know he's the usual scapegoat like. -

Lol. On viewing the replay the goal was nothing whatsoever to do with Pears. Mclaughlin should actually have cleared it off the line fairly comfortably.
