S15 Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 The revolution is upon us... Big Sam Abbey, BIIIIG SAAAAAAAAAAM!!!
bringdunnback Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 That sounds plausible but...Isn't Hughesy in London? He was pictured outside his home on SSN this morning and it only takes an hour to get to London by plane.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 He was pictured outside his home on SSN this morning and it only takes an hour to get to London by plane. Yeah but didn't he meet some City officials in London today? And didn't Nicko say he was staying in London?
Hasta Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Can someone quickly explain to me the difference between payout and liability when I LAY on betfair? If I put £5 down, whats the difference? See on here If you're still struggling post again in that thread giving a bit more detail.
Paul Mellelieu Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 It's nearly time for the PM reassessment of MH. How's this for starters? Coventry Larissa Arsenal kids Bayer Leversusen This season at home Crap interviews "next level" etc Brum away No wonder JW wants rid.

iamarover Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Good to know the board have been straight to Steve Patrick to tell him exactly what will happen before anyone else. Even before our manager has left. Splendid. Er ... if Nicko is right. And he has been bang on so far ... £5m compo/Hughes wanted by some Chelsea but not RA/City desperate/......then his tale that Sparky is in London rules out any kind of communal cry in with grounds folk, tea ladies and corner flag planters. I suspect that the dinner with snake like Kenyon has gone well and he has oiled the way for Sparky to stay South. Exciting times. Let's face it. It was never going to be a marriage. Just a fling with a high class bint who had a great name and was dressed to kill. But all in all... she..the girl off Home and Away... wasnt that great in the sack was she...? Hughsie isnt the girl at whose memory you wistfully grin at the fading of the sun with a whiskey in hand. He isnt Field, Wagstaffe, or Sellars, Hendry or Duff. Not even Furphy, Lee, Kendall or the great King Kenny. No glory. No suspender flashing. He was just a bit dull in the end. All fur coat and too much knickers. Lets hope for a more flamboyant edge to the Rovers in 08/09.
Mozzer Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 im not going to start calling mark hughes and mistakes he made of done-but he has done a brilliant job at blackburn on such limited funds..going man city i would be disappointed in him, going chelsea i can take.
philipl Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 This is a guess but Sparky has probably left London on one of Roman's planes finally to go to meet the guy. Leaving the city bigwigs to go and drown their sorrows in Soho.

There's a chapter on his time at EP, only got through a page or so in Waterstone's, but looked like a good read.
brian_gallagher85 Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Anyone else having a little chuckle at SSN and their "KEEP UP" ads from The Sun?

Hughesy Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Good luck to Hughes. Whilst he has done a good job, he is certainly replaceable. He hasnt won any cups for us, he has finished as high as Souey. So what! We had some pretty poor performances this season even though we landed 7th. Hope we can move to the next level with our next boss.
dj54nna Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 going man city i would be disappointed in him I can hear the chants now "You're just a Welsh Lucas Neill, Welsh Lucas Neill..." Nobody is going to begrudge him going to Chelsea, but City is a kick in the balls no matter how many fans they've got. I really should have better things to do with my time, but after Nicko's tasty tidbit, I've found my finger glued to the F5 button :/
S15 Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Good luck to Hughes. Non no no,.. It's bad luck to Hughes... BAD LUCK!!

Paul Mellelieu Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Non no no,.. It's bad luck to Hughes... BAD LUCK!! It's not bad luck; it's make a load of very bad decisions and then get a load of bad luck.
dj54nna Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 I didnt know what the F5 button did till now. Looks like I've just ruined another life.

rebelmswar Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 It's not bad luck; it's make a load of very bad decisions and then get a load of bad luck. Judging by the party line that he will have to walk at Man City it is bound to happen. I will miss him though. Gave me a great sense of confidence seeing him on the line during a game.
