mellison24 Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 The only way to make a REAL statement is to beat them comprehensively. Anything else is just a laugh.
Gav Posted January 27, 2010 Author Posted January 27, 2010 Oh Owen Coyles magic, he used to be a tw@t But then he left the dingles, you have to laugh at that He soon became the Judas, but Moses was his name And at the end, the best of all, the Dingles go down again The only way to make a REAL statement is to beat them comprehensively. Anything else is just a laugh. Agree with the first part, but look what United fans come up with when they play City and Liverpool, some of the banners are legendary and make national news. We should be looking to do the same, bit a bit late in the day I know.
mellison24 Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Banner: 'Laws vs Big Sam - The battle of the big balls?'
Gav Posted January 27, 2010 Author Posted January 27, 2010 Stolen from another site but: Don't bomb Iraq, Bomb Burnley
PAFELL Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Oh Owen Coyles magic, he used to be a tw@t But then he left the dingles, you have to laugh at that He soon became the Judas, but Moses was his name And at the end, the best of all, the Dingles go down again He was here, Now He's gone He's left you in the sh-t- Owen coyle Or Thank you very much to Owen Coyle, Thank you very very much, For leaving the dingles in the sh-t- Thank you very very much
CircoWill Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 As a banner, something as simple as "So bad even your God deserted you".
SamDingle Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 The geeky, cringy stupidity of this thread is a great antidote to the mind-numbingly dull misery of last night. Maybe you could just bring along that [lovely chap] with the drum and do 'Barmy Army'. As for the banner, you've not managed to come up with a single intelligent or witty post on here for years. So good luck with that one.
roversmum Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 I say, old chap, bit touchy aren't we? Must be the weather...
SamDingle Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 I say, old chap, bit touchy aren't we? Must be the weather... I glimpsed the future last night. It appears to be hoofball.
JWUpper Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 I glimpsed the future last night. It appears to be hoofball. ...or the championship
CrazyIvan Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 I glimpsed the future last night. It appears to be hoofball. Are your dingle dreams in tatters? Shame...
jodrell Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 I glimpsed the future last night. It appears to be hoofball. Back to the wilderness
Gav Posted January 27, 2010 Author Posted January 27, 2010 The geeky, cringy stupidity of this thread is a great antidote to the mind-numbingly dull misery of last night. Maybe you could just bring along that fat spakker with the drum and do 'Barmy Army'. As for the banner, you've not managed to come up with a single intelligent or witty post on here for years. So good luck with that one. You've just made my day
SamDingle Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 You've just made my day Alas, this is probably true. When you consider the empty futility of your days.
mellison24 Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Alas, this is probably true. When you consider the empty futility of your days. The irony......
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Loving every second of your clubs sad, slow, demise Samuel.....we just knew it was only a matter of time. Just loving it!
Gav Posted January 27, 2010 Author Posted January 27, 2010 Alas, this is probably true. When you consider the empty futility of your days.
JWUpper Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Yes...just as futile as intentionally making an account on an opposing team's messageboard to try and provoke angry responses from said team's fans, and despite the fact it doesn't work very well, continue to do so out of principle...simply showing how immature and banal you and your life has become. Good on you though Anyway...back on topic! I think that we shouldn't need to make that much of a statement...by the time we play them they'll be almost certainly down, so we should just let the team do the talking!
CrazyIvan Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Alas, this is probably true. When you consider the empty futility of your days. I reckon SamDingle needs Prozac...
mellison24 Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Quite simply: 'There's only one Owen Coyle!' Or: 'Moses! Moses! Moses! Moses!' (Tune of 'Friedel' and 'Tugay')
Sir Ranulf Westwood Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 As a banner, something as simple as "So bad even your God deserted you". I have never deserted Burnley.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 ......Thousands will do soon enough Ranoff!
Gav Posted January 27, 2010 Author Posted January 27, 2010 I have never deserted Burnley. You deserted the burnley folk on bin day though, bit of snow and the job stops.
Sir Ranulf Westwood Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 My son's first car probably cost more than your house, alas your jeers of "bin man" just go right over my head.
