Puffsan Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 I love that venkys protects our assets. And I agree with them 100%. Let him rot instead of selling him cheap. We bought dann for 5 millions (plus extras). Samba is at least worth three times as much. If the bids are 6-7 millions now we can put him on the bench for 6 months and clubs will still offer 6-7 millions for him . Personally. I want him gone, but only for a large amount of cash
Hughesy Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 Rovers tell Samba he can sit in the stands http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/transfers/rovers-tell-samba-he-can-sit-in-stands-rather-than-leave-6291059.html
Damien Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 He WAS at training today, he was joking around in the background on ssn!
Muddboy Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 Samba still not in training and the ss camera's are there also so i'm sure you'll be hearing about it soon. Just watched the interview that was filmed down at Brockhall today by SSN and Samba is seen waltzing past the cameras on his way to training – massive smile on his face and laughing. Then close to the end of the interview Samba and Givet are behind Kean cocking about and having a laugh. If the SSN cameras turned up trying to do some stirring, they failed miserably. This is probably the best bit of PR to come out of the club in a while. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/7440606/
Backroom DE. Posted January 18, 2012 Backroom Posted January 18, 2012 He WAS at training today, he was joking around in the background on ssn! Surely not, what about all those vicious texts from his team mates?!
Damien Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 I agree I actually did not feel bad after a Rovers interview for once and instead felt positive!
Tugay-is-God Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 He WAS at training today, he was joking around in the background on ssn! Looking very 'ill' aswell, I might add.
Mercer Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 IMO, brave words and utter lunacy. Think I know who will crack first. http://www.dailystar.co.uk/football/view/231013/Chris-Samba-to-stay-in-cold/
AspRover Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 I like that in the gossip collumn today QPR are 'weighing up' making a £6m bid. Its almost as though they're doing us a favour.

As if Jim W(s)hite would stir it with his best buddy Stevie Baby Kean spouts the same old rubbish, active bids yadda yadda, all in it together yadda yadda, get the players fit (who have been for 90% of his time) and we can back up the table waffle waffle. And Samba is with Givet who is probably the only player who's still speaking to him. Samba running past was more of a "As if you will let me sit in the reserves you bald, media areslicking nomark" statement
Guest Rovers4Good Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Samba's back in training with the Reserves today. Tut tut you naughty boy
Ricky Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 I thought you said he wasn't in training yesterday but everyone saw him on Sky??
Guest Rovers4Good Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 He came out late Probs the reason why he was training with the res's
A cup of beans Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 He came out late Probs the reason why he was training with the res's you also said samba was training on friday.. the reserves training is in the papers and announced on talk.sh*e this morning!
Guest Rovers4Good Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 you also said samba was training on friday.. the reserves training is in the papers and announced on talk.sh*e this morning! What do you want me to do send you a pic?
A cup of beans Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 What do you want me to do send you a pic? not really, but when you describe how someone has looked in training.. ??? maybe you should clarify if its something you have seen or hear.
Guest Rovers4Good Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 No bother you want anymore? Oh and by the way if you're going to say where are the res's then there are a couple in the background and if you knew the training scedge you'd know that only the 1st team train with yellow balls
Backroom DE. Posted January 19, 2012 Backroom Posted January 19, 2012 Interesting stance by the club. If it gets to the end of the transfer window, Samba still hasn't been sold, and he still refuses to withdraw his transfer request I don't know what happens.
A cup of beans Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 No bother you want anymore? i wasnt asking for proof.. just clarification.
Guest Rovers4Good Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 There's your clarification and if you ever need anymore then let me know as it's not hard to look out of the window and take a pic
blue_n_white99 Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 I wonder how long it will be until we hear he has a mystery illness/injury, probably about 1200 Saturday
Hughesy Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 I wonder how long it will be until we hear he has a mystery illness/injury, probably about 1200 Saturday Na it will be 'the two lads last week did excellent so they start anyway, Big Chris still has abit of a bug so he will be back next week'
BrisRover Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Anuradha has made her decision. It will be interesting to see if Samba sees out the next six months helping Rovers survive or throws his toys out the pram and rots on the sidelines http://www.goal.com/en/news/596/exclusive/2012/01/19/2856007/christopher-samba-told-he-will-not-be-sold-this-month-in Not a fan of Venky's, in fact i hope they are the ones who leave at the end of the season but i for one am happy with their position here. Let him leave in the summer for no less than 15 million pound. First in best dressed. (hopefully PSG)
