philipl Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 From what I can see, one of two things is happening. Either the Raos have decided that serious cost-cutting and reduction of focus on the business is the way to run Rovers going forwards, or Everything is on hold whilst ownership options are considered/negotiated. EiT is looking at this through conventional managerial eyes. There are now far too many things going on at Ewood/Brckhall which completely defy any sort of managerial logic. This is now way beyond any post-takeover shake up and is far more ominous.
bob fleming Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 they are clearly having too much fun. Yep, I'm having a right old knees up here. Champagne corks flying everywhere, bunting, flags, loud music. Fun, fun, fun fun, fun. All because I believe Blackburn Rovers Football Club is on its arse.
Mike Graham Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 I sense there will be a very volatile atmosphere at Morecambe, first chance to vent feelings directly Are we having an outing to Morecambe from the Royal Oak then Brownie? I'll be there for the 2nd game.
hawkiiz Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 It was said by SkySports on twitter that they had something for Rovers fans. We were signing a striker, but can't find the news anywhere. Anyone seen it??

hawkiiz Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 That's what I thought. Weird that they decide to tease us, when THAT's the news they got.
broadsword Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 I've made venky voodoo dolls but I don't think they work You're not stabbing them hard enough.
Kelbo Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 That's about right EIT but you are wasting your time. Paffell, Den, Bangkok Rover, Bob Fleming, the Rovers shirt burning Majibal and Kelbo, who talks to players but couldn't possibly name them, are in full flow. Oh, I could name them but I wont, if you dont understand why, then I cant help you further! The owners have destroyed BRFC in a few months, this will take some time to even start to recover from what has happened during this period, we simply cannot continue to be managed by these idiots and certainly not from India.

I've heard the stories too, but unless there is MAJOR parts I have not been told, then the stories do not add up at all. Not even close. So anyone want to paint the whole picture?
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 It's not fun watching the club you love slowly falling apart before your eyes. There have been too many poor decisions made and key personnel lost to dismiss the chain of sad events since last December as the natural progression during a change of regime, and there have been so many promises made and broken that it's little wonder that fans don't trust anything the owners say and continue to vent their feelings. It's in the owners hands - if they can deliver some decent signings (at least 4 to improve the squad from last season), the bickering will abate and fans might start to believe Rovers have a positive future under capable owners. The Chocolate Soldier in Canada is correct to say there's nothing we as supporters can do about the lack of transfer activity - but it doesn't mean we are not entitled to voice our displeasure as Rovers miss out on yet another good player. Good post Jim and sums the situation up to a tee. Having Fun Mike?
thenodrog Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 my lardarse one did Didn't work half as well as my waggy one!

You're such a bloody drama queen Kelbo. What do we need to recover from? We're in the bloody premiership and have 40 games and 40 million sky money to look forward too. I bet Sheff Weds, Sheff Utd and Leeds wished there club was as destroyed as ours Get a grip man.
broadsword Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 Sheff Weds, Leeds ... we're heading the way they went at this rate.
Mattyblue Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 Fair enough Gav. what is your take on the Venky's stewardship?
Gav Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 Fair enough Gav. what is your take on the Venky's stewardship? See post #603 on the message to venkys thread
Mattyblue Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 Made some good points there Gav, so what is the need for accusing other fans of being 'drama queens' on various threads whe they express similiar views to yourself? Not trolling are we...

Gav, I wish you were right. But you are the one who needs to get a grip. I for one cannot put what I am aware of on here because of the risk of legal action to the site but there is only a fraction of the terrible news about Rovers currently circulating and well substantiated.
cruz Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 Surely if it's true then you shouldn't be worried about showing your hand
Gav Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 Made some good points there Gav, so what is the need for accusing other fans of being 'drama queens' on various threads whe they express similiar views to yourself? Not trolling are we... I've no idea what trolling means Matty, but I have been told is a favourite pastime for the likes of 47er and nodgob. This site is full of bloody drama queens, the clubs in an enviable position, a position that many clubs would rather be in, some people need to get a reality check. Sheff Weds are charging £400 for season tickets for the coming league 1 campaign, they’d much rather be paying £200 and seeing the likes of Man Utd, Liverpool and Keith Andrews. The spoon fed few on here need a reality check, I’m sure you’ll agree
ABBEY Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 For the good of Blackburn Rovers .If what you say is true..then put or quite frankly (Please don't use that word again) off.ïts time now to show us or shut up Surely if it's true then you shouldn't be worried about showing your hand

You keep telling us this Philipl, and I understand the reasons for not posting the news, but plenty of rumours are flying around at the moment, most without foundation. As for getting a grip, I tend to wallow in self-pity and misery when something bad actually happens, until then Im a happy camper
Mattyblue Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 Jones money? You saying it won't be spent Gav? Quck edit there son!
