Balwer Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Onouha is available, we could have tried or made a move for him. he at least would have brought experience with him, but no we still waiting on our active birds to be accepted. Regardless of people's thoughts on Kean/Venkys etc I think most will agree that the whole transfer negotiation process needs to improve because it's breaking down far, far too often. Will be interesting to see how O'Hara does for Wolves, he's a player I wanted at Rovers.

booth Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Yes but were not talking about players that have been sold. Im comparing us losing three centre halves to injury. So tell me if Chelsea had those three injured just before the game who would they play? But that's a daft argument. I've no idea because I'm not a Chelsea fan and samba and nelsen haven't just become injured. Been out for weeks. We've sold one of our top two centre halves and we haven't replaced him. Stop excusing the inexcusable. Anyway I'm actually at the game and it's ready to kick off. Lots of confused, shell shocked faces around trying to remain positive.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Here we go lads, come on Rovers! Good luck Hanley!
BPF Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Anyone else watching on foxsoccer.tv? My stream hasn't started yet. Just keeps saying that it will be starting shortly. Also, Mods - I'm talking about the fully legal system here in the USA
Tim Southampton Rover Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Confirmed - NZonzi at centre back

Amo Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Confirmed - NZonzi at centre back Soooo... Robbo Salgado - Hanley - Nzonzi - Olsson Hoilett - Emerton - Dunn - Pedersen Formica Roberts ...?
Tim Southampton Rover Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Brilliant save by their keeper, looked over the line from Hoilett but somehow they kept it out.
Eddie Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Very, very close. Nearly a brilliant start. Suarez's season is off to a flyer as he misses a penalty in the first few minutes for Liverpool.
imy9 Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 I would play Salgado at Centre half with Hanley and switch Bret to RB.
Balwer Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Very, very close. Nearly a brilliant start. Suarez's season is off to a flyer as he misses a penalty in the first few minutes for Liverpool. He's redeemed himself pretty quickly.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Not looking too bad at the moment. The important thing, as said on Radio Rovers, is that N'Zonzi and Hanley are constantly talking to each other whenever they get a spare few moments.
promoted2001 Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Our defense is hilarious! N'Zonzi is a good midfielder but is most definitely not a defender! The commentator stated "N'Zonzi is having problems with his positioning" (no sheet)
Balwer Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Good point made on Yahoo Football: Formica is going to have a bit of trouble with the two big centre-halves today. The striker hasn't won a single header as of yet. The hosts will need to play it in to his feet.
Rover Down Under Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Yellow card for Johnson for foul on Peds.
Andy Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Yes, Formica! Good play by Roberts in the build up!
