rebelmswar Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Urghhhh this S.O.B. is still here. FFS he is like the smell of sardines in a house. Apologies if posted elsewhere but... Keith Andrews slams Steve Kean. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Good old Keith (and to be fair I agree with him - drop him cos he's not good enough, not because the fans dont like him.) Christ, even Keef is having a pop and that's like being viciously attacked by a Furby with dead batteries.

donegalrover Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 This is really funny every fan hoping that kean is sacked and our owners are so thick they would rather drop down a division than lose face. What is wrong with these people.just sack the man it cant be any worse than things are
Rovermatt Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Apologies if posted elsewhere but... Keith Andrews slams Steve Kean. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Good old Keith (and to be fair I agree with him - drop him cos he's not good enough, not because the fans dont like him.) I've two problems with this article. Firstly Andrews was signed by Ince not Allardyce. Secondly the fans took against Andrews because he was invariably useless at this level and a symbol of the disastrous Ince experiment. To make out that his exclusion was somehow down to the supporters simply taking against him (for reasons other than his abject lack of Premier League ability) is a pathetic attempt to hitch his own story to the anti-Kean bandwagon. If he's flourishing in the Championship then good luck to him. I hope he continues that form into the summer but claiming that his 'face didn't fit' is ridiculous.

Hi Mack Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Venkys do the right thing for once.....Sack the clueless Dilbert..! KEAN OUT
Stuart Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Is there a betting market for Kean being in the job all season?

I had issue with the term "boss" and Kean for a start. It should be apparent to all but the blind and deaf that Kean could not boss water to boil in a brand new kettle. Secondly, Andrews can only say that his "face fits" when at the local zoo. All that aside its a good piece that goes to show that Kean can not even manage a player with the experience and worldwide appeal of Keith Andrews.
onlyonejackwalker Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Is there a betting market for Kean being in the job all season? No Jisty, all bets are off.... Joking aside, he surely cannot last much longer. Someone at Head Office in Pune will wake up one day. Won't they?
mark1875 Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Is there a betting market for Kean being in the job all season? William Hill 9/4 http://www.williamhillmedia.com/index_template.asp?file=17689
Stuart Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 No Jisty, all bets are off.... Joking aside, he surely cannot last much longer. Someone at Head Office in Pune will wake up one day. Won't they? Made me "laugh" this morning, listening to talksport. They were talking about Andre Villas-Boas and his poor start. First time Chelsea have lost back to back home games since Kerry Dixon were a lad, or some such tosh. Well boo hoo. They also pointed out that AVB has a worse record than Scolari. Boo hoo too. No mention of Ince when the talking about wor Steve. Tell you what we'll swap AVB for Kean. I'll drive them both to their new clubs myself. Right now. Seriously. Amazing that AVB is big news and his job should be under threat, yet ickle old Rovers should be happy just to be mentioned in the same breath as Chelsea on a match day and should back their manager. Stupid, ungrateful yokels. He saved us from relegation last season don't you know? Well whoopie ###### doo.
S60tti_BRFC Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Have a feeling he's going to be around for a lot longer than we think. If the owners can't see how shocking he is, then they will learn the hard way - Relegation. Let's be honest Kean will still be in his job this time next week.
Stuart Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 William Hill 9/4 http://www.williamhillmedia.com/index_template.asp?file=17689 Might just be me but that looks like the odds not to be next manager sacked. I'm talking all season.
mark1875 Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Might just be me but that looks like the odds not to be next manager sacked. I'm talking all season. WILLIAM HILL Have lengthened their odds for Steve Kean still to be Blackburn manager when their final Premier League match of the season kicks off still further, from 9/4 to 4/1 following support for him not to see the season out as a resut of the news that Rovers’ fans have organized a protest march against him. ‘When you lose the fans you normally lose the job shortly after’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe. that suggests its a market for him to be manager the day of our last game to me? don't know when the article was written but it suggests they have a market on it
Stuart Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Cheers Mark. For any normal manager in Kean's situation I'd say those odds are miserly but they are probably pretty generous considering!
koi Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 We'll have these rumours week in and week out but I firmly believe that he'll be here at the end of the season. I hope I'm very wrong but I honestly can't see it.
Commondore Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Apologies if posted elsewhere but... Keith Andrews slams Steve Kean. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Good old Keith (and to be fair I agree with him - drop him cos he's not good enough, not because the fans dont like him.) Sure Keith, the stick only came from you performing badly when played out of position...
JAL Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Pretty much feel that if Kean is still here come the next home game, the fans are going to be chanting anti Kean songs right from the off loud and clear. Stand up if you hate Steve Kean, should be a good test for the Ewood faithful and their stance.
sharpysharps Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Looks like he's going nowhere for now. If we get through tomorrow with no news then you can be pretty sure that Kean will be in charge of the Stoke game, and then probably Swansea after that. Will Venky's even bother showing up to a game again afetr they experienced whats been going on first hand on Saturday? I have my doubts. We have a horrible record at Stoke, and who knows what the Swansea game will bring. The thought of Kean being in charge of another crucial game for the club is not a nice one. One thing is for sure if Rovers are struggling in that one then it is time to make our voices heard more than ever. I'm sure by Thursday we will be hearing the same old tripe about how Rovers are on course for the top 10 and the whole minority thing.

Staggered that he's still here.

All games from here on out are crucial - for our current manager and the next. The perfect man for a rescue operation: Big Sam. The Championship clock is ticking Venky's.
Roverall Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Kamy saying on Twitter that for the first time ever Venky's PR are not talking to him or anyone. Keep Hope Alive.
JAL Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Well lets be honest, isn't it about ruddy time too...he's had it far too easy at Ewood!! Staggered that he's still here. The Rovers crowd to their credit have been very supportive and very patient with many hoping that these next six games were going to be the turning point, but after witnessing a dreadful performance against the bottom team who should have won comfortably if we hadnt have resorted to cheating. Think now their patience has finally snapped. Let the uprising begin .........TAKE BACK EWOOD ! Kean out!
