@FourFourTom rumours are that stre kean has been sacked after a heated exchange of words in a crisis meeting?

There is significant activity on Twitter with many people involved.

Who the Harry Seacombe is Iain Weir?

Exactly my question. I don't get Twitter. Why should I believe a word Iain Weir says? Am I supposed to know who he is or something? Same with the other Twitterererer.

Getting emails from credible sources at Blackburn Rovers saying Steve Kean is out. can't keep up! Wont be announced till tomorrow

Pullen and Iain Weir are posting fake tweets.

Damn both of them for getting my hopes up for the 4600th time.

They are not necessarily posting fake tweets. A @bbc sport tweet would be them tweeting to bbc sport. Letting them know the news.

Believe it when I see it, but if there is a god.......

It's those Pullen and Weir plonkers posting fake retweets from BBC and SkySports (check the official BBC and Skysports Twitter pages, there's nothing about Kean there). Others are picking them up.

I know how desperate you (and I) are for Kean to get sacked, but this sadly seems to be a windup.

They're writing "RT" next to the tweets.

This blog just shows how desperate the Walker Trust were to sell the club and how they must have scraped the bottom of the barrel to get a buyer.

It almost makes you grateful it was Venky's not Ali Syed who bought the club. Or it may just be an indication of what might happen to the Rovers.

Racing Santander

Reading that is almost enough to make you thankful for what we have.

Never mind dodging a bullet, more like swerving a nuclear bomb.

@Dansher1dan80 Somebody in Dundee and an Arsenal fan? Ok. So Kean gets backed yesterday and will be sacked tomorrow ... #whackybaccy

They are retweeting (or claiming to) tweets sent to Sky Sports and BBC by others so they would not appear on their twitter sites. They do look fake though, to make it look as though Sky and BBC are involved.

This. They're probably in stitches over how a lot of us (myself included) started hoping again.

Oh well.

please guys and gals don't get overexcited. We've been through this at least 20 times and each time he's stood on the touchline the following week pretending to be a premier league manager. WE ARE LUMBERED WITH HIM.

My missus put some bolly in the fridge for my birthday tomorrow. I'm drinking it now. Tis a worthy time me thinks. ROVERS TILL I DIE!

I think it's more likely that you will be looking for a new wife tomorrow than us a new manager.

EDIT: it's your birthday not hers!

Hope you have a spare bottle...

Nope n she's just come down the stairs. She's not a happy bunny. It's my birthday bolly, but you know what women are like?!

Well, if nothing else comes out of this,

#retweet#@once a year.#HAPPY BRITHDAY.@#birthdayBolinger

Happy Birthday

Cheers bud!

Rovers_786 probably started this with his 'meeting with Vineeth' that he told Glen about. Even if that was true i'm pretty sure Vinny Rao doesn't know his arse from his elbow and probably thinks Steve Kean is the tea lady at Ewood.
