I didn't think he was uppity at all. He refused to be drawn into a few comments (such as specifically describing Steve Kean's managerial flaws, contenting himself with listing relegation) but overall a good interview and one which should reassure a few supporters.

Surely if there's a chance the ex mnager is sueing you for constructive dismissal or whatever, then the best thing to do is to say as little as possible. Poor results are there for everyone to see and he could easily have gone on those grounds alone, so it's safe to talk about them. Anything else will be down to lawyers to sort out if it gets that far and it's good that Mr singh didn't allow himself to be drawn on other issues. Perhaps he's learning there too.

Constructive dismissal? Just show the judge his win record FFS!

totally agree but that's not how it works. if they had just out and out done a Sugar, said you're fired and handed him his P45 then there'd be no problem but they didn't. He was gradually squeezed (prised) out and so he may feel he has a case. You know he hasn't, every Rovers fan knows he hasn't but that doesn't mean he won't try it and it doesn't mean a judge won't believe him. After all, look how many perfectly sane people he's managed to con into thinkingg he's a dignified football manager over the last 22 months.

Constructive dismissal for one of the worst managers in football league history. The only man to have managed in the premier league with zero experience. A man who has been in trouble with the law whilst representing the club. A man who allegedly slandered a fellow manager, the man he succeeded and who was the one who gave him a chance at the club, to strangers in a bar. The man who almost got his club relegated after about 6 months, then got them relegated after 12 months.

He'd better have damn good lawyers if he's claiming his superiors were a bit heavy with him. He was damn lucky not to be thrown out of the boardroom window.

Turning back to the BRAG open meeting I think Shebby hinted he knew who he wanted to manage the club? The first thing which struck me yesterday in his RR interview was Black us in the running. He used words along the lines of "give Eric the chance to stamp his personality on the team"
