Wonder if any just like a family member will be "advising" them this time, no doubt the sharks will be surfacing sleeping bag at the ready if there's cash to made.

What's the betting they use Blackburn Rovers in any franchise name should they be successful

It could actually even be of use to distract them from our club. Maybe they will even learn the ropes of football a bit better if they're dealing with a club on their own doorstep, instead of this one so far away where they seem to know nothing as a result.

Maybe Ronaldinho will play for them over there. Once he's finished fighting aliens of course. I do think that if the Raos were not such a bunch of keanheaded idiots, it could have worked out alright. There could have been an opportunity to build the franchise into a feeder club for the established team (i.e. us), and then any talented kids from over there could have a trial for us. Wew'd also have gained a lot of positive publicity over there, possibly made a bit of money etc.

Sadly, the reality is rather different, as we all know too well.

It's a new, big money sporting event in India. So it'll be brown envelopes a go-go just like the IPL. I wonder if Steve Kean will be a pundit on the TV show, or manage the Pune Arnies or whatever they'll be called. It might rival all those Arab leagues for one last pay day for greedy/clapped out players and managers.

Goa is now part of India but was previously colonised by the Portuguese.
