Devon Rover Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Really important win. Well done, Rovers. Now on to Tuesday - an even bigger match after today's results.
Stuart Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Sandomierski has been brilliant today!!+1Made one awful mistake in the first half but was excellent otherwise. I'd have given him MoM instead of Dann.
neophox Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Barnsley got Stephen Dawson and Tom Kennedy got sent off, and lost 0-6.....it will be tough.
Clitherover Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Great win, weren't expecting it. Given ourselves a fighting chance. Win on Tuesday and things look very different all of a sudden.
Lathund Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Win for the first time in like 10 games, clean sheet, and out of the relegation zone (albeit barely) again. Hoping this can give us some momentum to get a result on Tuesday as well.
neophox Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 The big pole was terrific today. We will need it against Hudds.... Think Rekik will relish the chance to get a Place in the team and to show Man City.... Also think King or Cameron Stewart could come in for Kazim next game.
adopted scouser Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 In Manchester, in the rain and we've won a game. I repeat, we've won a game
rovers11 Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 YESSS get in!!! badly needed that. Dreadful day for Wolves and Barnsley. Really fancied those two to win today. Sounded like there was a lot of passion and commitment today and the crowd cheered every challenge and really got behind the team. A few scares but sounded relatively comfortable. Happy tonight.
yoda Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 In Manchester, in the rain and we've won a game. I repeat, we've won a game YEP, should finish above the dingles now

Probably King in for Kazim on Tuesday.
Lurid Coat Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Givet simply has to play v Huddersfield if match fit (both mentally and physically). No two ways about it.
T.J.Newton Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 I wonder if Givet will get a start alongside Dann for the next couple, Could do with a final Swan song(2 big performance) from him before he leaves us. p.s. id be sick to the guts(though not surprised) if Orr got put in there at cb though and Rekic would be a massive unnecessary risk(when we have givet there).
Lathund Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Did Hanley actually get booked though? Skysports, BBC and livescore all have Williamson and CKR being booked, not Hanley.
Clitherover Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 YEP, should finish above the dingles now We're not that far behind them with a game in hand, this division is so crazy it's a possibility.
Howler Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 we needed that. A loss given hudds and pbrough winning would have been a calamity, Was it a good performance or if people are saying the goalkeeper should have been MoM, does that mean we were lucky?
bigbrandjohn Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 phew.Must say while the points are welcome, i am still smarting from the fact that i am not freezing my nuts off at Wembley this afternoon with real pop at the final.
Oklahoma Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Highly doubt Givet will play for Rovers again. Next game, Rekik and King in for Hanley and CKR.
Salgado Is A Hero Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Did Hanley actually get booked though? Skysports, BBC and livescore all have Williamson and CKR being booked, not Hanley. The commentator said when he got booked, he put his shirt over his head because he knew what was coming.
RoyRover Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Massively relieved to get the win. We were desperate for the three points. If we can follow this up with a win against Huddersfield, we will have given ourselves a good chance of survival. How Givet isn't in the team is beyond me. Josh Morris in the team at left back over him? You only have to look at how unbalanced our squad is by looking at the bench. We had 4 strikers on it, a midfielder who can run (or do anything anymore) and a defender who isn't allowed to play!
EWOODACE1 Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Hanley should never have been booked. We played well today and Rhodes could have scored more. We actually created chances but still sat too deep. Hanley and dann were excellent but they had the most obvious penalty ever waved away. Worried that Hanley is out for 2 games. My player of the season so far
