Just seen the highlights and some good goals. Bit of another Kean calamity for their goal (no idea why he raced out of his goal that far) but at least we were 3 up.

Indeed. Soft goal. Fraser still had lots to do if Kean hadn't had such a rush of blood. Sorry to say that Kean does not fill me with confidence.

Whilst people are complaining about the goal we conceeded I'd like to complain about the match day pictures on the official website.

Why no travelling fan pictures, ever? surely it doesn't take much to snap a few pics of the fans? plenty of other clubs do it, why not us?

Just a thought.

A very good first half and a very good result. There will be times when things so not go as well so lets us not get to carried away when we win and not too down when we lose. having said that roll on tuesday for another 3 points

I'm usually quite lenient when it comes to our young goalie, but yeah, he was away with the faeries for their goal.

It was sadly terrible goalkeeping and its all too frequent but we don't have a viable alternative till Robbo is back (if ever)

Such a shame that Jake seems to have regressed so much this season. He wasn't this bad last year, was he?

Yeah, but it shouldn't be every week.

It isn't every week, he performed consistently well most of last season, but I agree hes started slowly this season.

I'm not sure how many matches he played last season.

I presume Robinson was in goal at the beginning of the season. He wasn't goaling at the end of the season because the Polish keeper was playing, but I don't remember how many matches he missed.

I meant this season, hence my original post asking why he seems to have regressed so much from last season :P

Sorry DE, missed that bit.

I'd stick with Kean myself, the lads got talent, no doubt about that, and will only improve his game by playing in the 1st team.

I've already given up on this season, we're not good enough to go up IMO, but if we keep this current young squad together, playing week in week out, we might just do something next season, so I'd stick with Kean.

Probably because us fans mean little to the chicken overlords

I'm hoping it's a confidence thing. I went to a fair few games at the tail-end of last season and Kean looked solid to me. He had a few iffy moments, but nothing majorly concerning. His performances so far this season are really concerning, however, he is young and I suppose we have to put up with it until Robbo comes back. I agree that we aren't going up this season and I don't think Kean will lose us enough points to be a massive hindrance to finishing mid-table.

Actually I think it needs addressed. His mistakes could be the difference between making the playoffs and not. I am one of the few that thinks Bowyer and his team will come good

Wondered why Rovers didn't further capitalise on Bournemouth's ten men, until you see who the subs were. Three league oners in Marrow, Williamson and Olssson wtf.

If Rovers are to do anything in this division they most certainly are not going to achieve anything with this calibre of player in the team. Roll on january for further playing improvements.

Williamson played well when he came on and Marrow only came on with 5 minutes or so left and that was probably as Lowe had been booked.

True but we won and then look at the injury list we have at the moment... it just happens to contain most of our creative lads.. Dunn, Judge, Rochina, DJ (not really that creative but def backup and would of put more pressure on the likes of best). Missing such players always impacts teams no matter what level.

I do wish we had of gone for Lingard, McEachran or one of the other lads mentioned but not to be.

These match day threads seem a lot quieter when we win than when we lose

I'll admit I'm trying to post less and hit the "Like This" button more.

But it was a great win. Bowyer is building a team of young, talented fighters, and the future looks very bright. :rover:

I'm lousy at predictions, but we may very well be contending for a play-off spot.
