Backroom DE. Posted August 6, 2021 Backroom Share Posted August 6, 2021 Are there any financial folks on here who can shed light on whether the sob story about Venky's business revenues being impacted by COVID is genuine or just another TM lie? Looking at their share price I see consistent growth from April 2020 onwards, which I wouldn't expect from a company that is in as bad shape as the manager seems to suggest here. 1864roverite
I have never been so underwhelmed over the start of a new season. I almost wish we weren’t playing tomorrow’s game
roversfan99
I am excited because I obviously miss going to games, and even 6 months ago this seemed a long, long way away. That being said, the club couldnt have done more to try and dampen my enthusiasm, which it obviously still has to a certain degree.

Record revenues and profits, their vaccine businesses have also set records income and profit figures for the past 12 months. Two years ago they had some struggles and could be one of the reasons he had to sell Raya in order to buy Gallagher but this year none at all. They might be saving cash to buy some additional businesses and invest more in their existing operations but they are anything but struggling at the moment. bluebruce
I'm tired and momentarily read the topic title as 'this way for excrement'. When I read it again, I thought 'nah I've misread that'. But when I think about our impending season, it was still right.

Backroom DE. Posted August 7, 2021 Backroom Share Posted August 7, 2021 As I expected. These bare faced lies make it very difficult to have any respect for the manager.
AllRoverAsia
Producing and selling a relatively cheap staple food to a market of 1.35 billion is something even Bling can't screw up.
