He's the man in form but it is very short term in view of his age.

winning the world cup is the focus and Welbeck is bang in form whilst has Watkins, Toney, Delap aren't.

These games dont matter but planning ahead, there is a strong argument that Foden should be playing over Bellingham.

O'Reilly really should have a chance to become our left back, its not a strong position and hes doing really well at City.

Gordon likely will pull out due to injury but hes lucky to get in. Hes been absolutely dire all season for Newcastle and is on a run of something like 20 games without scoring or setting up a goal.

Its feels that Tuchel has his tactical plan and more importantly he actually has bottled to drop or not play big players for the good of the team.

Its feel that 8 of this 11 starting line up will start the first game of the world cup fitness and injured permitted. Only left back and left winger the open spots

O'Reilly is the stand out candidate at left back. Playing really well for City week in week out.

Wharton is the best player to partner Rice.

We have to get one of Bellingham/Foden/Palmer into the number 10 role. It wouldnt upset the balance of the team and Rogers is a good player but not a patch on any of them 3.

Rogers is in possession of the number 10 role. We winning and its suit Kane cos Rogers will run beyond him. Will the others.

Lewis Hall at left back for me. His problem is injuries

We are beating poor sides. Bellingham has made a career out of running beyond and scoring lots of goals, he should and probably will start above Rogers come the tournament.

Can only beat who's put in front of us 🤷‍♂️

Of course, but it doesnt mean that the players playing are the ones that should start the World cup.

Kerching

Maybe not yet

"As reported last year, Rovers will also be due what's been described as 'a significant payment' when Wharton starts his first competitive match for England"

Although as we re-stated in the fans forum, income doesn't increase the budget, so any potential "kerching" only means Venkys have to send over less money when it happens.  Pleased for Wharton and obviously want him to do well, but the financial benefit is for Venkys, not Rovers

Is that a minor add on activated?

I believe we had an add-on that’s activated during his competitive debut for England. His actual debut in the friendly didn’t count, so I’d assume we’re owed some money after tonight 😅

Qualifications not competitive? I mean it's not a friendly 🤷‍♂️

You can, and its not a criticism of our performances. Professionally eased past poor teams.

But it doesnt mean that any players who play well should necessarily leap frog superior alternatives when it comes to the proper tournament.
