paullarrygher Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago I mentioned Small back in January. That would have been the time to do that deal, but we brought in Ribiero instead. Unless plan is to ship Pickering out then don't think there's much to this one. 2 Quote

Heโs been playing CB according to the article linked earlier. If heโs left footed then he fits the bill of what the club have said they want. 1 Quote

I think you misread that Small is a left-back but has been playing on the right side of defence this season with Kayne Ramsey suffering a knee injury in October. Although Transfermarkt seems to think he has been playing right wing mostly this season Edited 21 hours ago by KentExile 1 Quote

Every time an agent wants to drum up some interest in their client, there are always 3 clubs rumored to be involved.ย Not saying that we are not after this guy, but it's a bit funny that this happens all the time when it comes to players. ๐ Quote

I just say release him, taking the option and getting a few hundred grand just puts that little bit less pressure on venkys to put anything in. The way things are going now, there's no point selling a player ever again as the budget is the budget according to Gestede, whatever we bring in doesn't matter. 1 Quote

I keep seeing Rovers fans anticipating a multi-million windfall in the event Adam Wharton is sold by Palace this summer. Lessons still haven't been learned. Such a windfall is not going anywhere near the club be that facilities or new players/contracts. It is going to one place and that is covering Venkys losses and by extension meeting Waggott's targets.ย Why anyone would want those two to benefit whilst Rovers continue on the current path is beyond me.ย 2 Quote

Tomphil2 Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago I'm still seeing people say Venkys are paying all the bills and we still have transfer income to spend !!! Where in gods name do these people stick their heads ? We have the most ill informed brainwashed fanbase in England and the subject of transfer links when do we ever 'buy' the early ones we are linked to ? Very rare if ever, we are just a name always chucked in because we are always desperate to sign someone half decent. 3 Quote

Gestede has come out and said that the transfer budget is the transfer budget, fees received don't move the needle. Some people just don't want to accept it. 3 Quote
Forever Blue Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Thereโs people on here donโt get it. They think weโre getting better squad players than Hedges. They ignore the fact Hedges has been a 1st teamer for years as a result of the lack of budget.ย ย Delusional.ย ย ย 4 Quote
roversfan99 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I think they do get it. Its clear that he will be here. That doesnt mean that he is good enough or that he should be given a deal. If someone isnt good enough, rather than just shrugging our shoulders and going yeah he will have to do, we can still have some standards. Quote

KentExile Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) Preston letting players know via instagram that they are being released Probably shouldn't laugh at them being a shambles too soon, or it will turn out Rovers will use blind carrier pigeons (or random news articles from Elliott Jackson) to attempt to let our guys knowย According to someone in their forum, so it may well be nonsense, Rovers interested in him, ย ย Edited 2 hours ago by KentExile 1 Quote
