To be fair, they'll be offering a fair chunk higher on wages than us. But as a club, I agree, I reckon we've as much chance as getting promoted than them.

Not sure I believe the rumours being spouted about Brittain from the BRFCPrivy account, I guess we'll see for the Accy game; that being said, it's against Accy and relatively normal to play a different mix of players during friendlies...

Didn't Brittain say he wanted to sign a new contract? Or have I dreamt that?

To be fair don't the majority of players, playing for a club want to sign a new contract? Until a better offer comes onto the table, like this situation?

This is my actual opinion also however, trying to remain optimistic because if I succumbed to the negatives (which are normally true) I'd end taking a short walk off a cliff... 🤣

100% and this is why i fear we are being taken for a ride again by a new little power gang inside Ewood who want to turnover the entire squad.

It isn't Ismael they aren't trying to build a team specifically for him they never do that he's just the latest gatekeeper but probably one who'll stand in line better than JDT or Eustace did, for a while at least.

Something deeper is at play here and has been trying to be fully implemented for a while but i suspect Waggot and one or two other old school types were in the way.

All signs point in one direction....

I am surprised that a lower Premier league team isn't sniffing around Brittain - and the very least one of the three relegated clubs. Boro, Derby or Wrexham - none are going to offer his true worth - or really offer much career advancement. I suppose it is a limited career, so if they are increasing his salary.

It's 100% deliberate, they dont want Brittain, Travis, Tronstad etc on the books anymore, because they are proven championship players and want to be renumerated as such. Which this club won't allow.
