As per the post youβre quoting I gave the context for why I think weβre stronger. RB - last season JRC was shite/injured and contributed nothing from RB. We have now signed an actual RB who plays in the way the manager wants i.e. quick and athletic, everything JRC isnβt. Itβs a clear improvement in that area given the context.Β Quote

Fairly simple point - thought we were discussing whether we were weaker or stronger than last season - on the assumption Brittain is going to be sold - you need to be comparing the new bloke to Brittain not JRC who never played. Itβs not difficult, although I can see now why youβre struggling.Β One of whom has played a handful of minutes, so you're making assumptions on his ability as an actual RB. Quote
Forever Blue Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Just now, London blue said: One of whom has played a handful of minutes, so you're making assumptions on his ability as an actual RB. Yeah, heβs a RB. Correct. The bloke whoβs gone to Charlton contributed nothing from RB last season. Thatβs isnβt an assumption. Β The manager has stated he brought in the new RB because of the qualities he has. That isnβt an assumption. He sold JRC cos he didnβt have those qualities. That isnβt an assumption. Based on those things my OPINION (another concept youβre struggling with) is that we are stronger.Β Β The fact it needs to be repeatedly explained to you is quite bizarreπ 2 Quote
Tugayisgod Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Rovers reopened talks over Baradji on a pay as you play deal. Player happy to come under those circumstances. 2 Quote

Forever Blue Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago (edited) I donβt understand the pay as you play bit? So weβre going to pay the same fee for the player, but only offer him a pay as you play deal? Seems a very odd approach. If they have serious doubts on his fitness then why are they signing him? Edited 7 hours ago by Forever Blue 1 Quote

I don't get this situation. He's either injured and therefore can't/shouldn't play or he's actually fit to play. Rumours were the medical flagged up a stress fracture in his foot? There must be treatment for this type of injury, even if it's just rest and therefore we can decide if he'd be worth signing or not. 1 Quote
