Frightening yes, but completely inevitable as a direct result of decisions and steps taken by the ownership and their regime.

There are consequences to everything in life. Yet I still get the impression there are people employed down there who genuinely don't understand this and think that they can just rely on and take for granted that people will just hand over their hard earned cash without question every year whilst this lot take the piss out of them.

A look at the Ewood seat planner suggests breaking point has been passed for quite a few.

I was told yesterday by someone in the club that the current figure was just over 8000. I asked how many were sold in Phase 2 and told "not so many".

Which is odd considering the average home attendees over a season is around 13.5k.

Even at the time some said it was a con trick so they could then say 'no point bothering'.

When nobend first did theirs an adult ST behind the goal i think was £100 cheaper than Rovers at the time, Bolton was even cheaper but obviously a league lower.

It's hard to fathom are they complete crackpots or just con jobs covering their own arses.
