jim mk2 Posted yesterday at 16:08 Posted yesterday at 16:08 Brittain not even in the top 3 - something wrong surely? Congrats to Tronstad though - lynchpin of the team. Simon will be pleased 5 Quote
Hasta Posted yesterday at 18:06 Posted yesterday at 18:06 Is it based on average rating across all games? Or most POTM won throughout the season? Quote

Simon will be pleased Nothing wrong, just people having different opinions to yours. He had a great season, so did Tronstad, Travis and Batth. 1 Quote
Ferrit Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago I find this outcome hard to believe, no Hedges what with all his attacking contributions? Quote

Righty-ho It is my humble opinion that Brittain has had an outstanding season and should be in the top 3 if not the winner Apologies if this does not chime with yours Quote
rigger Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago And yet for all the recent hype, Dolan was not in the top four. Quote

I didn't give my opinion. But personally I'd have Brittain down for 4th. Travis 2nd. Him and Tronstad have been the fulcrum of the team, and when either was out we massively struggled. Same can be said for Batth, without whom the defence became porous. Brittain has been excellent, with great contributions (5 assists and 2 goals from his position in 30 odd games is very good going), but I don't think the team has been quite as reliant on him as the other three. And remember the score is based on match by match scores given by board members rather than just an end of season vote. I certainly see the argument for Brittain being in the top 3 though. I can't imagine he was far behind. Quote
Mattyblue Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Tronstadt POTY for the wider fanbase and that cesspit of negativity brfcs. Thoughts, Rev? Still sticking to he’s poor/average/slightly better than Corry Evans line? How about you you put your hands up that you got this one wrong and we’ll have an amnesty - I.e folk can’t keep raking your former opinion up either? Fair? 3 Quote

If there was an award for most improved player, more common in youth football, he'd have won that hands down. Quote
