JamieUK Posted yesterday at 19:01 Posted yesterday at 19:01 The fit on Castore sportswear is terrible. They produce Lancs & England cricket stuff - I've spent near £500 over the past 18 months and sent all bar a pair of Lancs training shorts back. I'm a medium, I've kept a size small and have to turn them up at the waist so they're an ok length. The Umbro quality next season will not be the same as it was pre Macron. Quote

Castore had a rough start with botched up kits like the wolves badge being upside down. Currently, the Everton kit looks pretty smart but don’t forget, the dingles have this manufacturer too. I follow Republic of Ireland and Castore have been their supplier for the last few years, the prices are awful and the quality and appearance of the kits is even worse. Apart from this season's home jersey which was a bit disappointing, I've generally been happy with Macron's designs over the last few seasons. The fact that last season's kits were the best sellers we've had in years reflects that IMO. Even this season's gold kit is okay, just think they could have used better landmarks than Blackburn train station on it, etc. Edited yesterday at 19:21 by StHelensRover Quote
Backroom Tom Posted yesterday at 19:25 Backroom Posted yesterday at 19:25 (edited) Are they presenting a replica FA Cup on Sunday? Saw this posted about the wrong date being engraved but can’t see anything from the club Edit - seems they deleted the tweet, probably scrambling to change the 0 to an 8 Edited yesterday at 19:27 by Tom Quote

Backroom Tom Posted yesterday at 19:30 Backroom Posted yesterday at 19:30 This was a snip from the initial tweet shambolic as ever, literally incompetent 1 Quote
Mattyblue Posted yesterday at 20:03 Posted yesterday at 20:03 I wouldn’t mind but it’s literally on a board slap bang in the middle of the Blackburn End 1 Quote
JHRover Posted yesterday at 20:10 Posted yesterday at 20:10 They've taken it off twitter but it is still on their Instagram reels from earlier, so I've saved it. Can't do anything right can they? 1 Quote

Dreams of 1995 Posted yesterday at 21:05 Posted yesterday at 21:05 😂😂😂😂😂 You have to laugh. In no other industry would such rank incompetence go unpunished. We can’t go anywhere else - this is our club. That is the only reason this lot are still running They make a mistake in practically every single announcement they make. It’s beyond a joke to be honest. There’s a very real part of me that thinks this is on purpose because it is too much. It is such a show of contempt 4 Quote

RevidgeBlue Posted yesterday at 21:09 Posted yesterday at 21:09 What's so annoying is that I think every supporter knows we last won the Cup in 1928, you don't even have to think about it, basic fact. The Club's run by people who obviously have no interest in it whatsoever and couldn't care less. 7 1 Quote

I mean if i can check it and corroborate it from multiple sources in 3O seconds on my phone… Still - present a replica of a cup and then get beat. Wonder whose kit we’ll be wearing for this one 🤔 Quote

I only buy from their outlet as their head up retail prices are ridiculously high. I go into the shop in Meadowhall & then wait for it to come into the online sales to buy 😉 However, I know many Villa fans who were very unhappy with their kits, quality & design wise. Perhaps it’s different folks who design/manufacture their football stuff? Castore have the licence to produce Umbro now so I’d expect us to be badged Umbro but I’m guessing they are all made in the same factory. Umbro historically was a great brand for Rovers until they started dicking about with not reversing the halves. They were the first to do that & for that alone I will never forgive them…😆 1 Quote

Apart it being 90% red and yellow 😆 Meadowhall is a maze, a treat to go there according to the Mrs (a treat! 🙈) I can just about endure a regular Trafford Centre providing I get to eat at a place of my choosing 😆😆 terms and conditions..... Mattyblue Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago (edited) The shirt will be in the shop tomorrow… the ‘very limited numbers, exclusive ST Holder offer’ didn’t go too well then. Edited 9 hours ago by Mattyblue 2 Quote

If the club was run by people who took pride in their role or had an affinity with the club, such a blunder would be inconceivable, but it's par for the course now. The fish rots from the head down. Ferrit Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Who on earth wants to buy one of those shirts? Absolutely dosghit, fair play at least it mirrors the performance from the one time we will (thankfully) wear it. Get it framed, should be a good conversation piece "This is the shirt we wore and we were absolutely wank" 3 Quote

Backroom Popular Post Tom Posted 6 hours ago Backroom Popular Post Posted 6 hours ago The FA cup thing is doubly bad because they did it, filmed it and posted it and not one person checked it, within minutes fans spot it and they delete without acknowledgment. 10 Quote
