Popular Post mick Posted Sunday at 03:45 Popular Post Posted Sunday at 03:45 Attended the Canadian Shield games yesterday, as the guest of the New Zealand Association. It was there that I met Ryan Nelsen. We had a pleasant chat and he stated that he loved his time with Rovers. A really nice bloke. 44 Quote

Tomphil2 Posted Sunday at 09:27 Posted Sunday at 09:27 The Admiral Him and Samba were some pairing, will we ever have a defender of that class and ability again ? Unlikely, shame on you Venkys ! 5 Quote

Popular Post Bronzed A Donis Posted Sunday at 11:19 Popular Post Posted Sunday at 11:19 A leader of men, proper defender and great world cup in 2010. One of my all time faves. Disgustingly forced out as we were all lied too and it's kept going downhill since. 13 Quote
Andy Posted Sunday at 16:07 Posted Sunday at 16:07 A proper captain and a proper man. To think we picked him up on a free. Sparky's scouting setup knew their stuff. 2 Quote

Tim Southampton Rover Posted yesterday at 07:20 Posted yesterday at 07:20 Can't think of many better signings in the Premier League era. Top class guy. Quote

joey_big_nose Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Him and Samba were our best ever defensive pairing for me... Watching since 1992. My best team from that tome till now : Shearer. Bellamy Duff. Tugay. Sherwood. Ripley. Le Saux Nelsen. Samba. Berg. Friedel Seems strange to have so few players from the prem winning season but Id put it down to the general quality of the league improving so much from the 1990s to the 2000s. More players played under souness/hughes (7) than Kenny (5). Adds up to 12 as Berg played in both periods. Quote
