arbitro Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Patrik Farkas has gone on loan to Prescot Cables until January. Hopefully he will get some game time in the NPL which is the lowest level we should be sending loanees to in my opinion. 1 Quote
KentExile Posted October 11 Author Posted October 11 (edited) Starts this weekend for O'Riordan - lost 4-0 - played the full game - Connor O'Riordan 4 - Shaky showing. Back in the side but perhaps ring-rust contributed to his loose, early pass which Ballard gobbled up before firing home. Didn't get a great deal better thereafter Edmondson - won 1-0 - subbed off on 83 minutes whilst 1-0 up Wood - won 4-3 - played the full game & scored the 3rd On the bench Olson - drew 0-0 - remained on the bench throughout Barrett - lost 2-0 - remained on the bench throughout Pratt - drew 3-3 - came on at half time with Chorley 2-0 down Farkas - drew 1-1 - remained on the bench throughout Not involved in matchday squad O'Grady-Macken - drew 0-0 No game this weekend Duru Edited October 11 by KentExile 2 Quote
Rogerb Posted October 11 Posted October 11 George Pratt was steady enough for Chorley but beaten by a near post run for Oxfords third. 1 Quote

KentExile Posted October 18 Author Posted October 18 (edited) Starts this weekend for Edmondson - won 3-2 - subbed off after 79 minutes with the score at 2-2 Pratt - lost 3-2 - played the full game - scored to make it 2-1 to Chorley Wood - drew 2-2 - played the full game On the bench O'Riordan - lost 2-1 - subbed on after 51 minutes with the score at 1-1 Barrett - won 4-1 - remained on the bench throughout Farkas - lost 2-1 - subbed on after 73 minutes whilst 2-1 down Not involved in matchday squad Olson & O'Grady-Macken - lost 1-0 Duru - won 4-0 - no longer mentioned as injured, so simply just not selected Edited October 19 by KentExile 2 Quote

Patrik Farkas has had 13 minutes game time in the three games Prescot Cables have played since he went there. In my view another totally pointless loan which will do absolutely nothing for his development. 2 Quote

Rogerb Posted October 20 Posted October 20 Olson has gone from regular starter for Altrincham last season with good reviews to hardly getting a game at Oldham. Needs recalling in January and placing elsewhere suspect Altrincham would be delighted to have him back in view of their poor start. Quote

Probably the case, although one of Oldhams centre backs was sent off this weekend, which may open up an opportunity for him If he doesn't feature this coming weekend, he probably never will Edited October 20 by KentExile 1 Quote

KentExile Posted Friday at 14:17 Author Posted Friday at 14:17 (edited) Starts this weekend for O'Riordan - drew 1-1 - played the full game Edmondson - won 1-0 - played the full game Wood - won 2-1 - scored the opening goal before being replaced after 86 minutes with the score at 2-1 On the bench Barrett - drew 1-1 - remained on the bench throughout Pratt - lost 2-0 - subbed on after 42 minutes with Chorley down to 10 at 0-0 Farkas - won 2-1 - very little info on this one, no idea if he got any minutes Not involved in matchday squad Olson & O'Grady-Macken - drew 2-2 - Olson not included even on the bench despite Oldham missing one of their first choice centre backs via a suspension, & O'Grady-Macken is yet to even be named on the bench, although a report here that he may be injured, both utterly pointless loans Duru - won 2-1 - not sure if this is common knowledge but the MLS play off rounds (or at least this round) work in a "best of 3 series" format rather than using aggregate score, interesting, but strange. This result means San Diego are 1-0 up v Portland. Strange competition rules aside, I am hoping that his lack of game time means a return to Rovers in January, where given our budget, he in theory could in time be a useful back up to Alebiosu There are 2 midweek games, both on Tuesday, but based on their previous appearances, both seem unlikely to feature our players as any more than subs Barrett - score/update Farkas - score/update Edited 5 hours ago by KentExile Quote
