He can cover at centre back with Wharton and Carter still out, would allow Miller to shift to RWB if needed also. I still think we'll just shove Hedges at RWB and be done with it. Quote
ruggles1995 Posted December 15 Posted December 15 with him going to afcon, think if i was VI id look to go with morishita as right wing back. He looks to me as our best crosser of a football. He also has the japanese work rate to do the up and down work. 1 Quote

I don't know if Morishita could do that. 4 Quote
Tim Southampton Rover Posted Friday at 09:41 Posted Friday at 09:41 I'm thrilled he's representing Nigeria at the AFCON. Yes, it leaves us in a pickle, but any well‑run team prepares for situations like this. Instead, we've been underprepared, just as we have been for pretty much every scenario thrown at us this season. I don't blame him at all; I'm delighted for him because the call‑up is thoroughly deserved. My disappointment is with the club for not being ready. What concerns me most is that as soon as rumours of a call‑up started a month ago, we should have been knocking on his door with a new, improved contract. We didn’t act, and now he'll return from AFCON as a full international (maybe even a winner) and will quite rightly expect far more than whatever we eventually offer. To me, it's yet another example of the club acting too late, or not acting at all. 1 Quote

If Alebiosu comes back with his reputation enhanced and the club can sell for a decent profit, I'm sure they'll be delighted. Onto the next cheap punt/academy player. There is no desire here to keep hold of our best players through increasing salary - we have seen that throughout this year. 4 Quote

Penwortham Blue Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Just tuned in to see whether Ryan was playing but on bench. Up front is Akor Adams, the big ghost signing of a few years past as announced by Mercer 😞 Quote
