league one will be to expensive for us,it`ll be the conference or lower,if we can`t plunder the lower bowels of european football anymore,no doubt we`ll bring in the usual over the hill loanee to placate the pro venky mob

A 16 year old on loan from a premier league team if we're lucky?

Hard to see Hearts selling anyone in the middle of a title fight; even if they were just resigning Halkett to protect his value (unlike a normal well run team like us, strange idea that).

Both Halkett and Findlay have been key figures in their defence.

Findlay isn’t their player so if Oxford want to cash in not much they can do

Nixon has said the defender in question isn't playing for hearts.

He was answering about something else when he said yes

Or  he doesn't know who it Is, as if it's close why hasnt he done a story on it

He lives off this sort of stuff.

Not making an actual story, dropping a cryptic clue and then it becomes a guessing game when most of the time he doesnt know for sure either way. Good for interaction though.

...experienced domestic centre back...

..didn't we get rid of one of those...because the 'alignment' was to move away from JE's methods and to go for youth?

The liars would try to tell you that we had to sell Hyam.

He was never going to sign, wants to be closer to home, is a Wrexham fan and loves Deadpool.

I foresee a Forshaw/McFadzean type signing

Decent, experienced, past his best but a good organiser, probably someone to  compete/cover for Wharton sitting in the middle of the back 3, free transfer, contract until the summer, hopefully fitness more akin to Fadz than Forshaw

Maybe look for a 30 odd year old centre back currently not playing for a top 6 team?

Only a couple of more days now til I hopefully see Gueye and Tavares joining Bamber Bridge for an undisclosed fee.

As the heat's on those at Ewood with talk of the boycott, I'm very excited to see which stars we bring in from the 3rd Divisions of Western Europe 🙏🤞

I don’t want to repeat myself but creativity has to be the priority

Val said early business so that needs to be a centre forward and a winger/wing forward

centre back can come after - defence isn’t the issue

Doesn’t matter if we sign someone creative, if there’s nobody incisive on the pitch to score the chances.
