I watched Sunderland till I die documentary, and i remember Chris Martin's agent saying he was keen on the move then a deal was agreed but instead of him moving there he suddenly he stalled on the move and the week after he joined another club. 

why would we lose slots, when we having been playing our young players? 

You can make bids before the window.

What does it say of Gestedes ridiculous transfer strategy when every single academy player who's played has looked better than any of Gestedes stupid signings.

I'm not surprised by the rumour of a previous poster than said the under 21s think they're better than the senior squad, because currently that's all I'm seeing.

Surely you ascertain from the parent Club what sort of fee they would find acceptable before bidding? And if you're miles apart in your valuations, dont bother bidding.

Seems to be a lot of differences each week in what is said. Wants 2 this week rather than them all done by the same date.

Also this stance on being above loans in the summer looks even more silly now. I dont have a problem with loans as long as you arent overly reliant on them and obviously injuries can increase the need but it shows the lack of planning to say it, then loan in 2 and probably end January with a full compliment of them.

3 or 4 is not enough, nor would just loans be enough, we need a minimum of 5 in including at least 2 or 3 permanently. A left wing back is an absolutely critical and urgent requirement on par with a couple of forwards. Pickering isnt a wing back, Ribeiro obviously isnt and De Neve is pitiful.

We also need more natural cover for Alebiosu and a right footed centre back.

Ismael's comments on this are nonsensical. Hedges will have surgery and be in a boot for 8 weeks. There is no way he can play a first team match in less than 8 weeks after that. Season over. Why does Ismael try to throw a smokescreen of uncertainty over whether Hedges needs to be replaced? Utterly ridiculous and again just covering for the stinking recruiters.
