Not transfer related, but another stain on our name

Smart of us to represent ourselves. Means our war chest will not be used on legal fees.

He didn't drop down a division to 'find a club' he wasn't released on a free he was sold.

Posh prepared a bid after hearing Gestede was hawking him around and he was a willing seller, at less than they were prepared to go to.

Lets stick to the facts on this although i do agree the fitness side of it must have been the Rovers excuse to steer him to the door.

We also know Val wants workhorses who can hack his system.

I think the relevant point is that when Gestede was hawking him around no Championship club appeared to want to sign him and he had to take a move to Division One. Of course that doesn't mean that he won't get back to Championship level one day but it does seem from the interest shown in Cadamarteri by ourselves and Millwall that right now he is seen in the game as the better bet of the two. Time will tell.

"At present, no further details have been revealed as to what the breach entails. Blackburn Rovers and Macron have been approached by Lancashire Telegraph for comment."

Macron have registered a court filing against Blackburn Rovers for a breach of contract.

The Italian Sportswear giant are the club's current kit manufacturer and have been since a five-year deal was struck in 2021. That deal expires this summer and Rovers are anticipated to change suppliers when their current agreement ends.

On January 28, Macron filed a court application against Blackburn Rovers due to a 'breach of contract', as is listed by a document seen by Lancashire Telegraph.

It has long been expected that the two parties will separate this summer. However, nothing has been officially confirmed by Rovers or Macron at this stage.

At the most recent Fans' Forum (October 2025), Head of Commercial, Yasir Sufi, confirmed that a tender process beyond the end of their current kit deal has been completed but wouldn't discuss further due to the existing deal with Macron.

Additional comments were made that fans' views on original designs and pricing had been taken into account with their decision.

At present, no further details have been revealed as to what the breach entails. Blackburn Rovers and Macron have been approached by Lancashire Telegraph for comment.

Rovers' recent anniversary kits have proven popular. The 2024/25 shirts, mark 30 years since their famous Premier League title triumph, surpassing all recent sales.

Speaking to Lancashire Telegraph's Arte Et Labore podcast last April, Sufi said: "Retail-wise, we've nearly doubled sales in retail from three seasons ago across the board.

"Obviously, the kits have been a massive reason for that, especially with, for example, the third kit.

"So just on the third kit this year, and honestly, I still get astounded by the number of people wearing it. We sold around 2,400 of the yellow third kit that we had (2023/24), which was really good, but we've tripled sales of the third kit this season on its own.

"We've got a fantastic team who care a lot about the football club and want to see it progressing. So commercially, we've been strong in that area."

Our name must be absolute dirt in the football world, whether that's dealing with our own players and staff, the deliberately bungled transfers with other clubs, suppliers and now the kit manufacturer.

A complete disgrace. The Venky apologists never anywhere to be seen or heard when another shameful instalment of their ownership rears its ugly head.

Going from Macron to Castore, turned down Adidas Spezial because we would get less money from the latter.

More vision in Ray Charles than Pasha.
