Little extra needs saying except I'd add this, if VI was a party to the sale of the players in close season and had input into the purchase of the current dross then he fully deserves to be condemned with Gestede, the board and the owners.

If he didn't then I'm not on his case because any manager being asked to compete with this line up is doomed to fail. Even Fergie couldn't pull it off. These players are absolutely nowhere near Championship standard.

Chuck in a couple postponement replays, a whole team of 'first on the list' players injured and too many games in too short a time on a shit heavy hamstring tearing pitch, chuck in some 'unfortunate' refereeing displays and we are where I think we'd expect to be.

There can be no argument whatsoever that we have been poisoned by the ownership and it's impossible to know why. They employ the board, fire good people and hire bad, they starve us of funds, they sell our good players, they run down contracts and force people out.

If VI was party to any of the above then he deserves all the anger that's come his way. If he was a desperate unemployed manager who was grasping for any straw and thought 'how bad could it be' well now he knows.

Cantwell is an excellent player surrounded by average (at best) players, he cannot shine, he has to be frustrated. If I were him I'd be off like a shot.

100% agree with you mate, our only hope is a sale and clear out. How likely is that? 0%.

Yet we are 20th and potentially going down chaddy. You, like every Rovers fan, must be worried, especially with our ability to recruit. 

The season gets tougher every Christmas when injuries hit and pitches get heavy, this season is no different and I can’t see a way out right now. One stroke of luck we have had though, is Sheff Weds points deduction, as that means they take up 1 spot, only 2 more are available, thankfully.

McLoughlin and Miller have been good and before yesterday game we had a 6th best defensive record and 3 clean sheets in a row

The biggest disappointed has been Tavares, De Neve and Henriksson

I think it's easier to look half decent as a central defender when you're playing in a negative back 5 with 2 CDM's sat in front. They were abysmal in a back 4 earlier in the season.

Gav, do you think I know where we are in the league and am I worried about going down? Not at this stage. What we need a couple signings like a forward and creatively midfielder plus a centre back. its clear what we in terms of new signings now, its over to Rudy to deliver on that?

How is playing at 3 back negative? 

and we don't play with 2 DM's. Tronstad plays the DM and Baradji and Cantwell play the box to box roles.

Yes. Gestede, Conway, Cairney signing here permanently under Bowyer's first season.

Injuries have cost us this season to key players. 

I think 3 or 4 signings is what we need and stay up, then re-asses everything in the summer. the summer window is a much better one is get rid of players we don't want then this window.

Well we don't create anything at and we sit back passing it around our own half all the time. No point playing wing backs if they're always in a defensive position.

On the CDM's, if we're not someone needs to tell Baradji and Cantwell because they're always positioned 6 feet from the back 3. In fact you could argue we play 3 CDM's on how little time they spend out ofnour half.
