Would have liked one of the non league ones away really. I remember those days, Willington, Altrincham, Kidderminster and Welling.. Quote

JHRover Posted December 9, 2025 Posted December 9, 2025 I think worse would have been a nightmare long journey away with no novelty factor - Brighton, Southampton, Portsmouth, Ipswich, Norwich, Swansea, Bristol City. At least with Hull it's not a difficult afternoon out for those who want to go. 2 1 2 Quote

Good city centre in Hull and walking distance to the ground. A boring draw yes but at least not a nightmare journey. Quote

MarkBRFC Posted December 15, 2025 Posted December 15, 2025 No trains to Hull that Sunday if anyone was thinking of using that as a method of transport, rail replacement buses instead. Quote

I'm sure the club thought very carefully about that when speaking to Hull City and the FA about when we would prefer the fixture to be played, with our supporters in mind. I'm sure we'll get a relatively small fee for it being shown on the Discovery Channel, that will pay for adequate drainage of maybe one of the penalty areas or something. Most of our games under Ismael could have been shown on the Comedy Channel. 1 Quote
GHR Posted December 15, 2025 Posted December 15, 2025 Bet the lads and lasses in Adelaide and La Paz can't wait to settle down to watch Hull and Rovers slog it out. The magic of the Cup... Can anyone remember / does anyone know if the FA Cup ties are officially audio broadcast by Rovers? Don't have TNT and not in Lancs... Quote
Waggy76 Posted December 15, 2025 Posted December 15, 2025 Another game moved for nonsensical reasons! Quote

I think for FA cup games you can listen to the Radio Lancs commentary on BBC Sport. 2 Quote

JHRover Posted December 16, 2025 Posted December 16, 2025 The FA not even trying to hide that they've totally sold the soul of the competition off. It's hard to even keep track of how many different TV stations have bought rights to it scattered across the globe. Quote
