I'd be amazed if we do sign him.

Its a deal that will be done

What's Baradji's best position? Doesn't seem to track back enough for CM. Very good at progressing with ball and playing others in. Not seen much of him in final 3rd yet personally. Worth a start on Monday.

Must be worst bench in the league currently? Lucky we've got Litherland etc to see us through, but I don't think ready for champ yet. Once again we're devoid of speed.

Cantwell is our token and we're much much better with him.

Dare I say it Gueye would have been a good choice to bring on..

Baradji is box to box midfielder. Hope he starts on Monday against Sheff Wed.

What would Gueye bring? he hasn't done owt all season and from the 2 team selections Ismael has decided his time here is done.

Gudjohnsen out for 5 weeks, Tavares 8 weeks.

Morishita, too early but VI said didn't look good.

Cantwell and Litherland cramp (apologies to chaddy who was right on that)

A striker has to be the priority now over anything else I would say. Maybe have to bite the bullet and bring Gueye back into the fray for a time

no problem, I can see what you were saying tho.

We need a striker signing 1st week of January now, over to you Rudy to deliver

The Wrexham keeper is a very strange one.

Makes Pears look like Buffon.

Im watching it.

He's surprised me tbf.

There's about 32,000 reasons p.w. why he would never come here.

Allegedly he was Eustace's first choice last Jan but as we know Waggott plumped for Dennis.

he is bloody awful. Its the same keeper in goal when we played them in the Fa Cup 2 seasons ago.

Losing Gudjohnsen for 5 weeks is a huge blow. We could’ve benefited with him today. Puts more pressure on the recruitment team to get in a striker. I’d rather play henriksson upfront than Gueye.

I'd rather play Gueye, but they clearly dislike him.

He needs to be shipped out on January 1 and a replacement brought in immediately.

Or they need to trust Joseph and Tyjon. Can't go into matches having Henriksson playing CF with a bunch of LW on the bench.

Question, can Joseph play when as far as I know he hasn't even signed a pro contract yet ? Not that I think he's ready yet as this level

yes

see Tyjon, who has also not signed a pro deal, but who has made his debut

Or Max Dowman at Arsenal, who was playing first team football as a 15 year old schoolboy who couldn't sign a pro deal until he turns 17

Its a very good solid away point against second in the league. We caused them problems all game, after 70 minutes, Boro ran out of ideas and their game plan wasn't there. I was expecting second half them to attacking us more.

Defensively, Pears made a couple of good saves, Back 3 especially Miller very good and solid, McLoughlin solid again and Pratt just continuing his good form. Tronstad in front was excellent and my man of the match. Litherland very good and Boro didn't get the best of him. Hedges good again.

Attacking wise, we created good chances, Ohashi first half, Henriksson first half, second half Baradji, Litherland second half.

Cantwell reliable as ever as captain.

The players are sticking together and performing very well and for Ismael.

Also how did Hackney not get sent off for reckless unnecessary challenge? nowhere near the ball and too late

Thought Ismael got things spot on. I would like BBC Radio Lancs or EJ to ask why Joseph or Boggan aren't on the bench as back up striker.

I like him overall, will never be prolific, but thought he was dreadful today

Agreed.

Worked hard but anytime it came to needing any quality he didn't have it.

I'd like to add, the hallowed Callum Brittain did nothing for 90 minutes against Hedges and Pickering...

He had a good first 45mins, set Whittaker up for what should have been a goal.

Dropped off a cliff edge in the second half but so did the majority of the Boro team.

Given his age we’d need permission from a parent and his headteacher.

I wonder if there’s ever been a case of these permissions being sought but denied.

No idea what game you were watching then. Worked his balls off even more than usual, linked play really well and had a few really nice touches. The only thing that was a bit off was the finishing, but he gave Boro's defence a torrid time. There's no way they came off thinking he was terrible.

Allegedly according to who? Honestly, I don't know how Eustace hasn't yet been knighted.

10 players unavailable yet we matched the 2nd in the league in all aspects. Baradji looks class and was the vislftim of a red card assault.

Meanwhile 3-3 at the Racecourse with 32 minutes left...

Imagine if Pele's Parents had grounded him in 1958.

A "bit off"?

You seem to be in the minority on that one.

Wasn't Brandon Thomas-Asante Eustace first choice last January not Bamford?

Where is it he on 32k at Sheffield United?

Its was the club who went for Dennis? Waggott did the negotiations from the reports

Aye, can't knock his effort, God loves a trier, you can't fail but admire the effort he puts in.

I didn't think it was so much his finishing, more his lack of pace to get in on goal to give himself a real chance . He's as important to the team over the next few weeks as anyone.

For Joseph?  He is 17.  I wasn't aware there were rules about participation of players of that age

If you mean Dowman, then yes, permission would have had to have been granted before Arsenal played him
