Just wondering. One for the Coalition:Seeing that I have a season ticket and that I will be included in the "official" attendance, even if I stay away...would there be anything more useful I could achieve, while being inside the ground? DM me if you have any ideas..

Will chaddy boycott the Watford game ?

The 100 million dollar question

Who gives a fk whether he does or not. Focus on the people that want the club to change for the better

You have other people have running the club as you know who they are for these months

You have had Waggott has CEO for 7 years, Shaw as MD as nearly 4 years

The way you jump to the defence of these owners and the way they run the club is genuinely incredible.

Imagine we had a proper corporate structure and, say, RF99’s view on it was ‘nah, feck these other roles, we only need a CEO and a deputy’, what do we reckon his response would be?

I really don’t think calling posters Venkys apologists is helpful. Once upon a time it was seen as a strength to support the club, whatever the situation and many still do adopt that approach and who are we to criticise them for it?

The fans can’t influence the current situation, certainly 1 fan can’t, so supporting the club unconditionally, for some, is all they can do and they shouldn’t be lambasted for it in my opinion.

That's sort of comments is just unwarranted and childish

How do you know?

Plenty of good clubs don't have massive board of directors. Bolton, Blackpool, Stanley.

Would you have a massive set of directors on the board if you were owner of a club?

Why not allow people to make their own decision on whether to attend the game or to boycott, its a personal decision for everyone and what decision is make should be respect. I posted my decision on here what it would be and that's won't change

I think a finance director is possibly quite useful, as would be a sales & marketing director plus a chief operating officer.

That way you don’t have concentration of powers, you have a proper champion/challenge in the boardroom with proper checks & balances.

We have none of those things.

I don't think you need loads of directors to conduct the type of meetings you are talking about,

The thing I don't mentioned the owners in 99% of my posts and I didn't jump to the defence in this post but simply posted that we had

You don't mention the owners in your posts? There are three or four threads on this board, including this one, which are specifically about the owners, which you constantly post in.

Jesus Christ. Venky of the year 2025 and possibly 2026.

Take everything he says with a pinch of salt. If it’s the status quo it’s correct, that’s all there is to the thought process.

New owners come in and they install various capable directors he’ll have switched to saying the exact opposite of his earlier post.

As a minimum I'd expect:

Chairman/CEO

Director of Football/Sporting Director

Commercial Director

Finance Director

Secretary

I'd probably also expect a non executive director or two perhaps to represent the distant owners.

This is the industry standard. I'm not really interested in what setup Accy Stanley have, as whilst it probably puts ours to shame it isn't really relevant to an institution the size of Blackburn Rovers that *should* be aspiring to reach the Premier League and stay there.

You don't do that with absentee landlords, faceless people, work experience guys and fossils like Silent Bob.

Nobody has used the word ‘massive’. Just a complete board will suffice

Our senior management are non-existent.

One of the directors is Ghandi Babu - who even is he? This whole operation is ran by Suhail.

There will be very very few football operations that go 6+ months without a CEO. I bet there’ll be very few businesses that do that. The only reason can be that Suhail, Ghandi Babu and Mr Rao don’t think they need any further help. By the way, out of those three mentioned, only one is actually UK based and only one attends matches. Or at least, did. He’s gone missing

Denying there’s a void of both talent and knowledge on the Blackburn board is just plain wrong. You may be able to run a slim operation if the people within the top positions are experienced. Ours aren’t. That’s a matter of fact

Is Chaddy a club plant? It's quite unbelievable the amount of waffle he spouts.

I'm yet to see anyone agree with his delusional posts.

I don't think you need a board of directors to run a football club but having senior management in place with experience in running a football club.

So my structure would be CEO, Deputy CEO, then a CFO and club secretary then the rest would be head of commercial and marketing operations for example. Then a DoF reporting to owner, CEO and Deputy CEO on all matters

We are looking for new CEO as reported by Alan Nixon before Christmas, Will be interesting who is appointing to this role.

I think Babu is financial guy within Venkys group and trust ally of the owners.
