RoversTilliDie Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I've thought of a better protest, for the Blackburn Rovers v Sheff Wed match. Both clubs are in dire straits, how about nobody turns up for the game. 2 Quote

Personally I dont think it matters in the slightest which match is chosen, just do it and get the ball rolling. 2 Quote

They'll just shrug their shoulders - even assuming they know about it It hasn't even happened yet and you can see it's already having an effect. The club are rattled, hence why they released that statement yesterday. Edited 2 hours ago by davulsukur 4 Quote

I think only a handful announce the actual number. Technically, there could be zero people in the stadium, but a "Thank you for your continued support" to an attendance of "11,000". If it needs changing to be more transparent, then it is up to the EFL to enforce it. It is a bizarre thing if you ask me. 1 Quote
Tomphil2 Posted 19 minutes ago Posted 19 minutes ago Great that it's in the media finally but obviously another shocking piece of AI created content. Quote
Mattyblue Posted 12 minutes ago Posted 12 minutes ago Ha one of the Mail’s senior sports journos won’t appreciate that, tomphil! Quote
Gav Posted 7 minutes ago Posted 7 minutes ago Anyone worrying over the attendance given out by the club needn't worry at all. You'll have BBC news/radio, Sky and commercial radio and Tv people at the game, they won't be lied to, their own eyes will tell them the gate is down, up or similar as ever week. It was obvious at Hillsborough the boycotts were a massive success after the first few got the football community chattering, we’ll need a few more after this to keep ramming the message home. 1 Quote

Mattyblue Posted 3 minutes ago Posted 3 minutes ago To be fair, AI probably does do sub-editing/proof reading at papers these days… Quote

The club will look (even) more ridiculous if there’s a discrepancy of circa 5,000 people. Quote
