To be fair he was good for Barnsley but that's where he seems to have peaked. I've read that at Luton he was used mostly a sub. Not sure how true that is.

Woodrow looks like a L1 player. Did well for Barnsley there. He's also 30 so he's not going to get any better. It would be another bizarre signing from a group of bizarre people.

Am I missing something? From what I can see he scored 4 goals for Watford in the Championship last year and barely played for them at this level in the stint before that. 10 in the PL but that was a while ago. I can't see anything to say he's ever been prolific.

Didn't he only score a couple of goals for Forest before being shipped out?
