  1. They've brought shame and decay to the club since they arrived.
  2. A bit of light within the darkness. An unknown in this league yet, but Zak Gilsenan looks the real deal. If players like Dolan keep underperforming I hope JDT throws ZK in the mix. Looks an exciting player.
  3. Probably because the entire team at various stages made sure it was a silly 3 points thrown away, when within the first 20 we should have been coasting to a win. As someone said, they were lethargic after half an hour. And we know it'll keep happening with some players.
  4. Should be winning it, since 1995 we've been told it's as simple as buying the title.
  5. Fingers crossed on Wahlstedt being good. Fine. I remain unconvinced by Wharton (though hope he can turn it around), don't know about Hill, I'm not entirely convinced by Carter and if Hyam gets injured I think we're screwed. Ffs. Travis inconsistent. Tronstad has looked disappointing, but hopefully he gets up to speed. Garrett and Wharton too young to pin any hopes on. Ffs. Szmodics good on his day, don't know about Moran yet. No idea about Sigurdsson. Dolan, ffs. Ffs. If Tomasson can get that team in the play offs he's a miracle worker not a football manager. When your CEO states publicly that the aim for this season is to remain in this league, after missing out on the play offs by goal difference, you know the club is just going through the motions. What a message to send to the suits, the players and the coaching staff.
  6. 13th place after 5 games will seem like dizzy heights at the end of the season. The caveat being unless Leo is a super keeper and Semir is a super striker.
  7. He’s irked about the lack of a signing, not him going on loan.
  8. Something to cheer you up. https://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/12953374/burnley-2-5-tottenham-premier-league-highlights
  9. Horror show. Along with Hedges miss. You have been warned. https://www.skysports.com/watch/video/12953359/plymouth-3-0-blackburn-championship-highlights
  10. He didn't say we battered them, he said we should have if we'd taken our chances. And he's right. Only one team in it till their fluke goal. And even after that we had chances that were fluffed. Up till Pears nervous breakdown, I only saw one dangerous chance from Plymouth that their number 9 completely mishit and should have been a goal. I saw several from Rovers.
  11. So he didn't say we battered them. He said we would have. I don't know if you watched it, but if we'd taken our early chances we would have. The finishing was worse than Pears performance. Hedges miss was infuriatingly bad. Easy to forget that we were by far the better team till their goal.
  12. For the second goal the defending was poor, and for the third it was amateur hour. Pears may be public enemy number 1 but our centre backs didn't help matters. What was S Wharton doing with that header?
  13. Two proven goalscorers going out is enough for me to work it out.
  14. Pointless being the best team who can't score and defend.
  15. He leaves, we'll get a right yes man dolloper and back to L1 we go.
  16. He was poor today and looked disinterested. For a guy apparently disgruntled at not playing last season, he didn't take his chance. But let's be fair, Travis was worse in the first half and Hedges was absolutely abysmal and missed a sitter. Perhaps a different game if Hedges is switched on.
  17. He didn't say we battered them, he said we had enough chances which we did. Good chances too, before Plymouth started playing.
  18. It's not even been that tough. Plymouth haven't been very good, we just can't score and we just saw the goalie throw his Rovers career away. We've missed sitter after sitter.
  19. This has got to be Pears last match after that. Wtf was he doing?
  20. First priority this Summer was a goalscorer, and thanks to the owners and Waggott's completely lack of ambition, we brought in an unknown on the final day of the transfer window. And this is the result.
