  1. Whilst it is true to say that Zurab should have kicked the ball into row Z, you can’t get away from the fact that Gray put him under huge pressure with an absolutely ridiculous ball in the first place. 100%? Never.
  2. We need to freshen things up and as others have said Todd has to return. If Bert is still injured we need to go in against United with Zurab at right back, Lucas (if fit) at left back and Todd and Ooijer in the middle. The thought of Mickey Gray against Ronaldo makes me shudder. Also was Gally injured? Have to say after his cameo on Thursday night I was very dissapointed to see that he was not involved at all today.
  3. Could not agree more. Turned a semi decent pub into something akin to a Working Mans Club. Knob!
  4. West Ham have not won in ages, the manager is under intense pressure, rumoured lack of unity in the ranks, the game is live on Sky, we have an awful recent record at Upton Park and to cap it all Alan Wiley is the ref who likes giving penalties to the opposition and sending our players off. Should we bother turning up? Yes! West Ham 0 Rovers 2
  5. Quite simply we have been mugged today. But missing 2 penalties! Can we really complain? Oh and by the way. 27,000? So that made 4,000 empty seats at Ewood today.
  6. I was watching Sky this week when Birmingham were playing Norwich. Paul Merson was watching the game, and he said that Dunn was head and shoulders above anyone else in the Birmingham team. I have said it before and I will say it again, the question mark over Dunn is not his ability but his fitness.
  7. Wigan v Man City was played in front of just 16,235.
  8. Now that takes me back to my youth. They were my favourite band for a long time. But I just can't get into the new stuff. For me it will always be Black, Burnel, Cornwell and Greenfield. Top band
  9. I just can't see us getting anything today. Liverpool 3 Rovers 0
  10. Now that's a first. You concerned about the price of a beer!
  11. For me Dunn is more than capable of playing in the top flight abiltiy wise. That is not in doubt. However, what is in doubt is his fitness. He has to prove that between now and January by spending time on the pitch and not in the treatment room. If he does, buy him.
  12. I really enjoyed Friday night, but watching BBC3 last night I am jealous as hell. Oh to have been at Reading as well! They ignored the curfew and just kept playing. Setlist Reading 27/08/06 Interstellar Overdrive, Corduroy, Do The Evolution, Animal, World Wide Suicide, Severed Hand, Dissident, Even Flow, Sad, I Am Mine, Jeremy, Grievance, Wasted Reprise, Betterman, Save You, Blood, Rearviewmirror 1st Encore: Iron Man, Soon Forget, Given To Fly, Once, Crown of Thorns, Comatose, Alive 2nd Encore: Why Go, Baba O'Riley, Yellow Ledbetter (Nobody's Fault But Mine by Led Zeppelin tease in Mike's solo)
  13. Whilst I do have sympathy with that sentiment, I am sorry but I can't help think use it or lose it.
  14. Well if you missed LeChuck you must be mad. I paid close on £70 for one reason only, to watch the greatest rock band in the world the mighty Pearl Jam, and boy they didn’t disappoint. A set list that included Go, Animal, Corduroy, World Wide Suicide, Even Flow (awesome guitar solo from McCready), Daughter ( sing-along tag of It's OK), State of Love and Trust, and the best song ever Black. They simply rocked he place down. Must admit they appeared a bit nervous at first, probably because it is the first festival they have played since Roskilde. But in the end they simply rocked the place down. Awesome, awesome, awesome!
  15. Talking of hammering two bass drums, I was never a big fan of Rush, but watching Neil Peart play the drums was awesome.
