  1. Is there such a league where promotion/relegation is purely based on performance.. which i'm not aware about? Tony, you are getting weirder with each interview.
  2. We aren't brave enough to kick Mowbray off the bus and get someone like Pearson onboard. Pearson wont guarantee Bristol City a playoff chance but at least there's a fresh view on their current squad, a manager who can inject new energy, ideas into the team. We are just stale and still trying to find our "identity" with the pointless possession football shit.
  3. Even the stats are laughing at us.
  4. Please dont look at such stats. They do not reflect the truth. We are second in the league in terms of possession. We are also one of the top scorers in the league. Also second top scorer in Armstrong.
  5. We are winning... the possession game.
  6. Brereton doesnt really look like a footballer eh?
  7. Our basic passing, shooting, heading is just non-existent. What do we do in training?
  8. I may be the only one but I'm really starting to hate this man. Whatever he has done for us in the first 2 seasons, the appreciation and gratitude to him are slowly evaporating. With every match, every interview, he doesnt seem to know what he's doing or saying. Totally disillusional. All that talk about been 2nd in possession in the league is just rubbish when we aren't getting results. Do we get a wildcard promotion if we win the possession league? It's getting stale. I know a new manager wont guaranteed promotion but sometimes, you just need a slight reboot.
  9. Not even going predict our starting 11 cos our manager doesnt believe in formation. Hes just pick players he likes, put them together on the pitch and let them create something. Few things for sure. Gallagher will play on the right wing (either starting or as a sub) Nyambe will probably start but will get subbed off for the City guy. Buckley will come on for the ineffective Rothwell. Armstrong will miss alot of chances, may just nick one from pen. Brereton will probably start, runs around aimlessly n get subs off, looking really shagged. Tony will do his infamous triple-threat substitutions Travis will get his weekly yellow card Dack will have a few moment of brillance when he comes on, which no one on the same wavelength will anticipate. Fades away towards the end. Kaminiski will make some great saves but may not be enough. There wl be aimless long punts from Lenihan. Tony will sit on his comfortable seat and tell the supporters why is there a need to stand at the touchlines when the players can hear him in an empty stadium. Happy to be proved wrong.
  10. Depends if its performance-based or result-based. i don't mind shit football with 3 points.
  11. Good point, this month is probably make or break. do or die. playoff or mid-table.
  12. I actually thought Lenihan's passing is okay, probably almost 90% successful rate since he passes only to Branthwaite, Nyambe or Kaminski. His passing heatmap to these 3 is probably lava red. It's his long punts upfield that irritates me. He thinks he's a Gerrard or Becks. If he keeps things simple at the back, he's quite a solid defender. I was critical of him throughout the season, but he was much improved in January. As for Gallagher, his first touch is often horrible. If he manages to pass it to someone (in blue), i think its considered very good. Don't have much expectations of him to be honest. He provides some height, good workrate, can run (in straight lines on the flanks), probably thats about it. Cant think of much attributes. Oh, he seems like a nice person too.
  13. Dont think we will miss him at all. Doesnt really contribute much tbh. Nice personality. Squad player.
  14. Its the journey that matters. Profits are nothing. Anyway well done to Brentford. Keep selling their top players eveey season and still get equally good replacements. Well run club it seems, off and on the field. If theres a team that i want to be promoted (other than us), its them. And maybe Swansea.
  15. Does it ever matter. He will probably be given a new one in the summer to continue the "journey storyline".
  16. 4 left backs, surely Tony will get this right?
  17. Alongside the ex-Boro boys Pears and Chapman.
  18. Shouldnt have come on in the first place. Wasted sub.
  19. Kaminski - immerse Lenihan - one of his best game at the back so far this season Gallagher - best sub today, came on and won quite a few headers, looked fresh and strong. Dack - his awareness and technical skills never in doubt, just need to keep working on his fitness Davenport - kept things simple throughout, hope his injury isnt serious. The rest woke up after we scored. Much much better performance after that. Still cant understand why we took so long to get up to speed with the game. Kaminski kept us in the game with a couple of important saves.
  20. Nyame's half time rating is his shirt number. This is just no organisation in this team now. Everyone is just filling up a position. One shot on goal this half.
