Luton Town v Rovers Sat 21st Nov. 3pm

Whats new? Lenihan always think he's Beckham and trying those long field passes, which never finds anyone. You just knew we are going to lose possession, the moment the ball gets out of his feet. -

How can Brereton's foul not been a penalty?! The defender's shin clearly blocked off Brereton's. I hope he gets punished. Poor refereeing Gavin Ward. -

JRC seems to have done this hamstring. Hope its not too serious. Thankfully we have Nyambe. -
Mowbray must be thinking that Bennett is a really good footballer. ?

Typical Lenihan. HAHA Tries to win a ball in the midfield, missed it (as usual), Johnson has to take a yellow for taking the QPR guy down. -

Good half from us, just needed a goal. Rothwell, Elliot, JRC, Wharton, Nyambe all very good this half. Armstrong a little greedy, could have passed the ball to BB on a couple of occasions but choose to shoot. Their keeper and defenders made a few good blocks too. -

Which other managers are available? Can Damien Johnson take over the team? -

https://youtu.be/sNOLjM7EEeM?t=82 This move from 01:22 kinda sums up our strike force. Great build up from Elliot and JRC? who fed in a brilliant ball in, which both Brereton and Gallagher missed completely. -

He is just preparing his excuses in advance. -
I read that too. He was already giving excuses even before the game started.
-
Just because the commentators are talking about other players doesn't mean he's not contributing.. It's true Elliot didn't make much impact (neither did the rest of the team), but you could see he was the only few players who are trying to get on the ball and create something and get back to the game. I don't think it's fair to say Dolan stood out more.
-
Not sure if you watched the game.
-
Elliot seems to be the only one who wants to get the ball forward. That passing around in our whole half is just so frustrating. Is this a cheap attempt to increase our possession percentages.
-
I cant understand why does Leninhan keeps sending long ball forward when his passing is so bad.
-
Mowbray accepts defeat.
-
Is Gallagher really playing left wing? Haha
-
We need a Swansea sending off in the second half to even things up.
-
Maybe Mowbray needs to go on Youtube and watch how/where Gally was played during that season. Almost all his goals (quite a few headers) came from the centre, in the box.

Darragh Lenihan
yellowsubmarine replied to Bigdoggsteel's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Lenihan ALWAYS does that. He wants to be in the thick of action and tends to over-commits himself to get the ball. But more often than not, he misses the ball, be out of position and leaves a gaping hole at the back.
