I feel sorry for Smallwood. He should have gone to a League 1 club in the summer.

I was actually watching that snooker game on a B/W TV and it made perfect sense to me. Was it on the show called"Pot Black"? -
I bloody hope so!

I have the same problem. I'm thinking of throwing away all but three for each season. Even then I'll have too many.

Who is Chris Houghton?

A 5-0 tonking, then. So be it. They used to call it "going knapp" in the old days.

Looks like Harrison Reed could be playing AGAINST us. He's just gone on loan to Fulham.?

Eight Bells on hands and knees to Craven Cottage.

I presume Real were in white. The few minutes I watched them midway through the first half the whites were dominant.

Oh. Thanks. Well done Rovers.

Saw some of it in the first half. We looked a bit over-run. Only one winner here. What was the final score?

Let's hope our lads have learned a thing or two from the United boys. Glad this game went ahead............good experience.

Well let's hope Santa comes tomorrow.

Thank you, Boris. Nice to hear some positive thoughts. Makes a change from all the negativity on this board. But do you really think you (Rovers) can deliver?

It's ok to plan big investment in some quarters. But sometimes little things need attention as well. Why can we Riversiders not exit the ground via the back fire escape any more? The hand driers in the gents toilets of the Riverside are abysmal. They don't encourage washing and drying of hands after having a pee. Such a small amount of money in comparison would be needed to upgrade to Air Force or similar. I find in many businesses that attention to small things is forgotten and hence customers are put off. I always judge a pub on its gents toilet. If it's clean and everything works properly, even if the fittings are ancient, then I know that the licensee probably takes great care in his or her cellar and the beer will be good. -

Of course. But my point was the PFA seem to be treating Bolton better than Bury. -

And Gordon Taylor is an ex Bolton player.? -
I thought Bell was also injured along with Williams and Hart. If so we could be starting with Downing at LB. Why not Joe Grayson?

My grandson hated football until his grandma forced him to come with us blokes to watch Rovers v Rochdale on Boxing Day, 2017, aged 15. One game and he was hooked. He now knows more about Rovers current squad than I do. He keeps me informed by WhatsApp about away games. Unbelievable.

When Duff, Dunn, Johnson and Taylor came into the first team, obviously Duff was special. But the other who impressed me at that time was David Dunn. I couldn't believe how good and how confident he was in bossing the midfield. Happy days.

Not that you'll see many youngsters on Saturday versus Charlton.?
-
Yep. I bought a home shirt at 50 GBP (can't do the L pound sign on my Mac) in early July and got 16 GBP knocked off.

Weren't we all in our younger days.?
