  1. You know the answer Matty. It will keep going until the fans stop paying. Cricket, unfortunately has already gone the way of football. Cash is king.
  2. On to Blackpool and Southport.
  3. I think every game they’ve played has been on, including county games. Ill be at O.T. Later today.
  4. It’s free Gav. The coverage has improved a lot. There is commentary and there are more cameras now It’s quite watchable.
  5. Lancs current game at notts is live on YouTube
  6. So to cap… Anyone we want - won’t come. Theres no one left we want. TBH, there’s not much point to this thread apart from a place where everyone can voice their disapproval at anything that’s rumoured. Its just a case of wait and see, then we can all disapprove of the new man. That WILL happen for certain. Blimey, half of Blackburn didn’t want Dalglish.
  7. The bit in yellow.
  8. Beat me to it. Do they know he’s available, 5 year plan and all that goes with it? 😀
  9. Oh how I miss the days when the club decided who they wanted then went out and got them. They didn’t simply just choose from whoever turned up at the front door.
  10. That’s a very poor test squad.
  11. That’s what any football club would do. Here it seems to be the limit of our ambition.
  12. The other thing that irks me while I’m at it is the continual use of the word stability. Let’s not get confused between stability within the business side of a football club - and stability on the field. Some fans seem to think that if you finish in a safe position in the league, that’s a good secure place to be. It isn’t because next season has no bearing on the last. You can’t plan to be stable on the field and it sounds from it as though some fans and indeed the club believe they can. It sounds like the club are planning for stability. For me, the minute you think you’re in a safe position is the minute you’re in danger.
  13. That article fills me with despair. More “long term”, more “player development “, more “stability”. More places for everyone at the club to hide. We’ve had that for 5 years and it’s got us where exactly? Here’s a novel thought for them, look for a “Winner”. It’s all they need to look for. Winning games as soon as possible Everything else will follow from winning games.
  14. I find that so sad. Sad that they took over a fantastic stadium (IMO) and just allowed it to fall into the state it is. Looking after the stadium is the least they should have done. There again, they were planning to break up the beautiful Academy training ground as well. I know they are the owners and do put cash in but you could be forgiven for thinking that deep down they have no pride in their club.
  15. Have they just realised his contract has ended and he’s left? Sounds like it.
  16. Mowbray comments today should prick a few ears. When he’s openly saying he doesn’t know how the owners work, and when he’s saying Waggott doesnt make the decisions it really is damning on the owners and on Waggott. For starters, it’s no good to anybody when the main man at Blackburn doesn’t have any power, can’t make decisions and presumably - like Mowbray - doesn’t understand how the owners work, how they think or what they want. If he had any credibility he should tonight be considering his position. Then again we’re looking for a new manager. If they read Mowbrays comments would they fancy risking their reputation, or building their reputation after seeing what a mess this club is? Someone will of course, but how can they succeed under these conditions? As for the owners, Mowbrays comments are just adding to the already low esteem that they are held in by most fans. 12 years. It really is time for them to sell up and move on. They can’t bring anything to this club apart from derision, confusion and exasperation. Put the club up for sale. Your times up in my opinion. This is a total shambles of a club.
  17. Yeah, I saw that as well. Couldn’t really miss it. I have to say that Lancs TV are doing a great job. There are a number of cameras now (7 I believe) rather than the two behind the ends previously. The scoreboard on there though is regularly confusing.
  18. Excuse me for thinking nobody at Ewood at least, that has a clue what’s happening.
  19. History has shown that if we hadn’t sacked Don McKay, we would never have won the Premier League.
  20. If you’re not prepared to change because of the fear of making the wrong choice, you will never succeed at anything.
