  1. Do they even have one? What are they now , the 8th or 9th biggest club in London? Impressive 🙄 Dullham
  2. No, same. I would start Nyambe if fit, as I said
  3. Goals win games and dictate how they pan out in general me old mucker. Buckley has a great little knack of assisting them from that position. Not disputing Nyambe is a better defender
  4. I would imagine Rovers have more than 20,000 fans
  5. No,I would agree. If both fit I would go for Nyambe, it's just interesting how Buckley can add to the attack whilst playing there, something Nyambe struggles to do
  6. The Buckely Nyambe one is interesting. Offence being the best form of defence, maybe he's the ace in the hole we need to unlock their defence.
  7. I find it interesting you said, when to be fair, we never really lose badly under him, like ever and do usually do fairly well against the top teams, performance wise at least
  8. Bet he wishes he was manager here
  9. Do you really think Van Hecke would make a good right back? I notice you have said Travis was deep lying a few times, now I haven't seen the full the game ,but right here the in the LT ratings it says he was further forwards https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/19684284.blackburn-rovers-player-ratings-derby-county-victory/
  10. The issue isn't sitting back per se, it's sitting back and offering nothing in attack. That's the balance. Like if we take the lead against Fulham there is zero chance we can just sit back, not offer a counter attacking threat and expect to hold on (barring outrageous luck.) So what's the issue? Well probably ball retention and decision making. I mean with Rothwell, Gallagher, Brereton and Dolan we should ,in theory, be able to mount a decent counter attack. I assume they work on this, so why is it not translating to on the field when under the kosh. I suppose they tire and the subs really haven't done the business either, Poveda and Khadra have looked miles off it. Hopefully it clicks for them.
  11. I don't see a swap there to be honest. Gallagher contributes a fair bit that Dack just physically wouldnt be able to. He frustrating is Gallagher, but I think people don't give him credit for some of the good he does
  12. I was wondering. I was like that's a tangential comparison....😆
  13. It's looking good though and I can see why the owners would like it! Now if only he could sort out us holding a lead in a manner than means we don't all don't go through stress every game, like he sorted out the tinkering, well, mostly, that would be great!
  14. Completely different players though. A winger and centre half
  15. Ya imagine fiddling figures to make a point 😆
  16. He always does. I don't think I have seen a game where he could be accused of giving his all. He's honest
  17. He could become a very good one even. He has it in his locker to score all types of goals. He just needs to keep getting in positions and keep the head up I think
  18. Got an assist for their goal though. I could see it clicking for him and going on a goalscoring run there. He doesn't look far off it
  19. We have alright, but I would say if you look at this season and teams we are in competition with around the middle and play off places, it's fairly common. I really think this is a season thats there for the taking. We have goalscorers, we have a solid defence(at times), we are just a bit naive/inexperienced and Mowbray sometimes doesn't help himself or us, but at times he pulls stuff out of the bag. A few new contracts and a bit of intent in the transfer window in January is the direction we need to be going. We might not get as good a chance.
  20. Indeed and my Liverpool supporting friends were still worried at 4-0 about a united come back! A goal changes a game and it seems collopses happen more regularly now and not just for us, although it feels like that. Is it down to higher skill levels of attackers , or maybe the pressure of being back in front of fans. It's hard to know, but I was thinking about it and we aren't unique to getting the Heebie jeebies!
  21. Gallagher is probably a nightmare for full backs. They are used to small nimble guys and up rocks this 6 foot 4 galloper who will win headers all day and run and run. He is still learning the position and it does at time amplify his weaknesses ,but at least it does look like there is hope for him there as last season it just looked like a fish out of water. The possession style didn't suit him, he wants to run into space
  22. Didn't realise it was the game on,would have watched it. I would pick a championship game to watch over a PL one, see what we are up against! Sounds like the honeymoon period is over for their manager so, interesting how that can sometimes just come out of the blue when things look to be ticking along nicely.
  23. He looks miles from world class at the moment and whilst they look disjointed and not bought into the managers tactics, the few times Kane got on the ball ,his output was very poor.
