  1. No, but I think fans of all clubs he was at end up having the same view. Although in fairness he has had some good club success I just don't think I can ever get over the 5-1 home collapse to Denmark. It scarred me
  2. Mostly drink black coffee with unsalted butter or MCT oil these days. Espressos like a right posh bastard. Used to be a big tea drinker, we have 2 main brands here Lyons and Barrys. In my opinion both nice, but people are very defensive of their favorite generally. Evening time it's herbal all the way, usually chamomile ,Relax or Night time tea by Pukka.
  3. Image, style and results were the issue. Along with the fact he kept falling out with players and the media in Ireland. Just no. I have a season ticket and while we haven't the players we had in the early 00s,what O'Neill over saw in the last year to 18 months was pathetic. Trapattoni at least was honest and said the player were limited, but at least he had us well organised and played to our strengths. I could not identify any discernable tactics or even formation at times under O'Neill. He played Cyrus Christie centre midfield and refused to play Doherty from Wolves. For God sake the guy called Williams up!! He is also to blame for not bringing Rice into the set up and actually capping him in a competitive game. I can understand why him and Keane could get a bounce there with their club history, but one way or another it will end with the fans dispising his style of football. He makes Big Sam look like Guardiola.
  4. He only played 9 games all season and scored 3. I don't think he will ever be prolific regardless, but I would keep him and Smallwood as squad players for now.
  5. Can't view it at work, but will check when I get home. Thanks!
  6. I said months ago he should be with the under 23s!
  7. I can't see how they will make a version I would be happy with, but hopefully I am surprised.
  8. I finished it 3 times on the PS1. Saw every screen that could be seen. It's definitely due a nostalgic trip. I just know the remake is going to be a let down
  9. I never said anyone needs to be a thug, so don't put words in my mouth. Middlesborough looked comfortable because we were shit going forward. You need defenders with a nasty streak who aren't afraid to get stuck in. We don't have enough. I agree we could be drilled better definsivley.
  10. Lack of controlled aggression in defence. Take Lenihan out of it and none of Mulgrew, Rodwell, Nyambe, Williams or Bell are what I would describe as aggressive defenders. You need some warriors in this division. Your Hendrys, Morans, Todds and Shorts.
  11. I must download it. What features are cool? Can I turn off random battles?
  12. I would imagine he was asked his opinion by the reporter
  13. Or just honest maybe?
  14. What are you playing it on?
  15. Bit of a harsh summary that He also brought in Downing who played a huge part last season. Then you need to also look at the fact that he has improved all of those already here, but in particular Graham and Evans. The from the younger players, Raya, Nyambe and Nuttall have all improved as well
  16. Sold! I hadn't heard of Disagea either, but it looks interesting. I was a big fan of Vandal hearts on the PS1 and it looks similar.
  17. I can see a spanking for us here if we aren't well fired up. Raya Nyambe Rodwell Mulgrew Bennett Bell Travis Rothwell Dack Armstrong Graham
  18. Did you finish Persona 5?
  19. I agree with that. Huge lack of leadership. Remember when we had around 4-6 players starting under Hughes who were captains of their respective countries
  20. Bennett is 4th on our combined goals and assists table since Mowbray took over. Obviously playing all the time helps, but he hasn't always being played in an attacking role.
  21. Lads, there is a Preston thread
  22. OK imagine 4 years ago someone said "Blackburn rovers will have Charlie Mulgrew and Jack Rodwell in your starting 11. I would have been like" nice". Oh by the way the two of them will be centre half. "mmm OK then". Good players but jesus we need a hard nut. Stat.
  23. Preston absolutely flying it. Would ye count them out in the play off race?
