  1. I don't get what fans have on this lad, is it because he was signed from Liverpool, as opposed to coming through the youth set up? He has played more and at a higher level than any of other under 23s who went on loan in the last 18 months. Strikes me as one of those, where the criticism gains momentum and the default opinion on him is that he is a bad player
  2. So why is Doyle currently on loan at a club who play 3 divisions below League 1, the level hart is playing at?
  3. Grand. Low cost, no risk. Starting on loan in League 1, which is more than Platt or Wharton managed. Under the official confirmation on Twitter a number of fans posting "why though" gifs. Kind of loses its originality when you are the 5th person to do it. Then one poster says "we must have better coming through the under 23s" Like if you don't actually know who we have coming through, you look very silly making these comments I feel.
  4. Lenihan has been one of our best players the last 2 games, dropping him would be harsh to say the least.
  5. Good shouts. I was at that game where we bet city 2-0. Tidy goal from the Axe! Those European games were frustrating. We deserved more.
  6. You really dislike Waggott, don't you? Wha was your view on John Williams? I'm just trying to understand if it's aythority figures at Rovers in general that grinf your gears. On this incident, I don't think Waggott was up in his office watching CCTV and stroking a cat before pointing at briggsy boy and saying "yes that's him, fly my pretties"
  7. It must have dawned on Lambo that a League 1 rebuilding job at a "big club" is the best he can hope for job wise.
  8. He does show a lot of the game. He could just say he is just recording the fans reaction though. Having security approach him during the game was a bad move
  9. Anything about them hounding McCarthy out?
  10. Ok, so what is the best and worst individual performance you remember from a Rovers player? Please give the opposition, scoreline, date of the game if possible and any other info you feel is relevant
  11. Brereton automatically starts at -10 and needs to work up from there
  12. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/rovers/news/17371149.blackburn-rovers-2-ipswich-town-0-player-ratings/ These player ratings are so odd. Pretty much everyone gets either a 6 or 7, no one gets an 8, yet Rodwell gets man of the match. He was surely an 8?
  13. It's sneaky and low, but I can't them being docked points for it, nor should they. I hope they don't go up now though
  14. Abraham is just better. Simple as that I would say
  15. Although I will say that he needs to drop the bit he does recently where he gives the score prediction from all his followers, it goes on waaaay too long
  16. Exactly. As a fan who doesn't get to Ewood too often, I really like these type of videos. I would say last season they were magic
  17. Totally. I'm not saying it's a bad thing!
  18. I would put Mulgrew midfield before left back and I don't think he should be in midfield! We are in a good spot competition wise. Smallwood and Mulgrew may have both just lost their places.
  19. This line on the official site would suggest not Tony Mowbray says the centre back position is Jack Rodwell's to lose following another impressive display from the former England international.
  20. To be honest I don't watch his videos to get "free highlights". I always watch them on the official youtube channel if I don't watch the game on Ifollow. I watch Briggsyboys to get a feel of the atmosphere. Sure most of the time he doesn't actually record the goals, just the aftermath and celebration.
  21. I know, I keep thinking that too, but I really think Lenihan and Rodwell work very well together. We can't leave Mulgrew out though, can we?
  22. Just read the quotes from ToMo. That is unequivocal, Rodwell is centre half with Lenihan even when Mulgrew is fit. I think we look better at the back with those 2, but Mulgrews dead balls could be a big loss....
  23. Get him on a 3 year deal. Serious competition at centre half, can replace Mulgrew and plays centre midfield.
