  1. Loans with option, not an obligation , to buy, ticks all the boxes
  2. Ya, true. They need to be good, experienced loans. On the graduate loans, I see Harper started for WBA at the weekend.
  3. Great game on Saturday. Could be an astute signing for the run in
  4. Tugay loves liking Rovers pics on Instagram. Legend
  5. I don't recall him saying that. From my recollection he said Brereton came available Nobody is saying not to sign in January, but would you acknowledge it is more difficult to sign players? Clubs won't want to sell starters as most are either fighting for promotion or battling relegation. He has said loans to buy are options, which makes perfect sense in January.
  6. I agree with most of that, but why sell Rothwell? We wouldn't get a huge fee as things stand, he is young and has potential. Selling him would be absolutely pointless
  7. If we have a £20 million warchest, it would be lunacy to try and spend it in January. Good thing Mowbray is patient and not under stupid pressure from the owners. Slow build is best(we may still mount a sneaky play-off push as well). Watch while the likes of Forest and Villa crash and burn after their gambles bomb.
  8. 2-3 no risk players in, sounds good.
  9. What an odd comment. The second best thing to the win was one of our players getting inured. Madness.
  10. A lot on twitter giving Lenihan man of the match. Good to see, particularly with Mulgrew out. How did Rodwell do? Great win
  11. I meant 70% Rangers, 30% Celtic. Well Dalglish is a Celtic legend, as is our current captain. Chris Sutton also. So links are there.
  12. Do you really need the difference in our situation to theirs explained to you? Stoke should 100% expect to be doing better. I think they had the best squad of the 3 that went down.
  13. I suppose they took Bolton at their word. I would imagine clubs will be less trusting of them going forward now
  14. As long as nobody burns their small wood ? I was going to say we need Steele in this division, not Wood, but that didn't get us very far!
  15. He would be alright wouldn't he
  16. Mmm, Well King Kenny is in God like territory,so excluding him 1-Hughes 2-Souness 3- Alardyce If he gets us up, ToMo will make the cut
  17. Thanks My God, that sounds very unfair, particularly on the player. Is it all down to finances , or did they just not fancy him? Amateur hour
  18. Ye really are. Gerrard is doing some job there and I had my doubts about why he took that job of all places. It would be an incredible achievement if he won the league. I think Celtic got a bit complacent, but I suppose that can happen after, what is it now, 7 titles in a row? At least the league is interesting again anyway
  19. Out of contract Premier league players https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11670/11595964/out-of-contract-premier-league-players-who-could-leave-for-free-this-summer I would take Boruc as competition for Raya. Norwood from Brighton. Think he is on loan with Sheffield united though if I'm not mistaken, so one would assume they are front of the queue. Realistically that's about the best I would expect from that list
  20. Can someone explain to me what is going on with Bolton and Forrest Green? I have seen tweets on twitter from both clubs, but I don't understand what happened
  21. I think it's crazy sacking a manager who is 7th in the league. Money doesn't guarantee instant success , especially in this league.
