  1. I was going to buy a VR, glad I didn't. I don't have the time and I don't think the games are where they can be yet. There is a VR arcade near where I work. They have the Rift I think it is. Played Arizona sunshine, pretty fun. The Batman VR was cool, but limited. It will be amazing the day we (well maybe not even in our team) can play GTA or Red dead in VR. At the moment I am playing Uncharted 4 and Dark souls 3. Uncharted is the worst of the series, amazing graphics, but awful pacing. I am bogged down in the final third now stranded on an island. I find it painful. Dark souls is cool, but I love all those games. It's not as good as Bloodborne, but then again, what is?
  2. That would have to be restored and you would be looking at a costly job. I have always loved the Rovers crest. When I was maybe 8 or 9 girls in secondary school made club crest stickers by hand to sell to raise money for their school. The Rover crest was one of them. Something about it really stood out to me. The colours, the rose. Not sure exactly. I think it may be what got me supporting the club. Good timing in hindsight as that was around 93-94 You know the way some clubs have redesigned their crest? That would be an absolute red line for me.
  3. As a back up to Dack he could be perfect, coming off the bench etc. However, could we really rely on a 17 year old if Dack was to miss a game? Nope.
  4. I am going to say loan - 117 Permanent - 122
  5. Well, he was dead right on that call. I liked Marshall. Versatile and a great strike of the ball. I would have him back. Although I wouldn't be too bothered either way.
  6. Would you have started him over Dack? He couldn't get in his preferred position because our best player plays there. The whole recall makes perfect sense tbf
  7. "Mowbray let his cat out this morning. He then let his cat back in" Full story in tomorrows paper and online. Rich Sharpe (@richsharpe89) Thanks Rich
  8. Sharpe is an underwhelming reporter to say the least. He is never ahead of the curve on anything
  9. I think banning ketchup is over the top, but a 100g jar of mayonnaise has 700 empty calories. It's madness if a professional player is horsing into the stuff!
  10. Did any of you watch Mulgrews Q and A on twitter? It was good craic. One thing stuck out though, he said Dack eats mayonnaise on everything. What the hell like. I think he was serious. It's wonder he looks tubby at times. Everyone knows mayonnaise is bad and an absolute empty calorie overload. I'm surprised a footballer doesn't realize that.
  11. Someone likes living on the edge!
  12. I found this tweet from Sharpe to be ambiguous and confusing. It seems he meant Palmer found a new club, but frankly, who cares? My initial reaction was we had signed someone
  13. In fairness, the thread opened in in November, not last week
  14. Wow, he is only 30. Takes frees and pens, so thats why his goal stats are high
  15. Pilkington was decent, but he seems to have went downhill the past few years
  16. So when is Brownhill being confirmed? Will there be an open top bus?
  17. Hopefully won't become the BRFCS message board Lord Lucan. Unconfirmed sightings of him on other Rovers boards
  18. So, what, we never start him again? Armstrong has had many chances upfront and has offered next to nothing from there. The one thing I will give him is that he looks better on the wing than Brereton. He has played 300 minutes of football for us. He needs a goal for his confidence. The couch football managers need to take a few deep breaths, relax and get off his back. Why not start him? Are some afraid he might actually score and therefor curtail the moanfest?
  19. You said He's really not, we just haven't used him right, or enough. 1 goal in the league and 2 in the league cup. He's chipped in with more goals than some I could mention.... 1 goal in the league and 2 in the league cup. More than many others in the squad..... The ...... suggest you were implying a specific player who is, frankly, being discussed to death on here. Especially the first post. My apologies if he wasn't who you meant. Who were you referring to out of interest?
  20. I can see a win here 1-2. Although it will be an edgy finish
  21. F*** off. Would reading fans had to have paid £75 otherwise? That is f**king outrageous!!!!
  22. If Palmer is as good as some make out, why is he only going to Bristol city on loan?
  23. Yet, you take a dig at Brereton twice in the space of 6 minutes in two separate posts. A 19 year old who has played little and when he has it was been mostly out of position Ironic
  24. I forgot he was even there. God, we missed a trick with not appointing him
  25. We heard you the first time You're right though Raya hasn't scored too may. I presume it's him you are alluding to ?
