He is 6 foot 2, so he must be strong enough. Looked quick when I saw him ,granted that was about 2 years ago.
-
Did we?
-
Rothwell certainly has a lot in his locker; quick feet, good passer, gets around well, decent shot plus he can tackle. Gem indeed
-
Rodwell and Mulgrew could be 2 good ball playing centre halves to have.
-
Didn't do a tap last night, although they were under the cosh
-
Being athletic and getting injured are separate things. By athletic I mean big, strong and quick.
-
He has it all to prove, but he def has talent and is very athletic, which we need more of imo. I reckon in a strange way its a signing for down the road. I can see it being a season deal, with him not getting up to speed and into the first team until January.

The picture was poor for me when I connected my laptop/netbook to the TV via HDMI, but I just watched on the laptop then and it was fine. The commentary was actually decent. The commentary was slightly behind the action, which I suppose is a lot better than it being ahead! Ten pounds is steep alright, that's around 12-13 euros. 5 pounds would be more reasonable. Having said that, I will still pay it.

It is interesting that Mowbray said it would be a cheap deal for the club. The man is in touch with the fan base.
-
On a deal til January or even the end of the season, this would be OK. I wouldn't be concerned about Rodwells attitude. I think that mostly comes from Sunderland fans annoyed he was picking up 77,000 a week while they were shite. The club was all over the place in general. I feel he may have been made a bit of a scapegoat. I could be wrong on that as I don't know all the ins and outs. My concern would be has he actually played well since leaving Everton 6 years ago? City was a bad move for him, but Sunderland was arguably worse. Is he unlucky or the one responsible. If anyone can get a tune out of him, Mowbray would be the one. If he gets going, he would be a serious upgrade on Smallwood
-
Ya, but I think last night was the most noticeable that Smallwood was a bit all over the place. I wouldn't be against him getting his place back at some point, for now he needs to sit it out and get his shit together. Rothwell or Bennett are ideal replacements. Rothwell at home, Bennett away
-
Evans and Nyambe our best players last night. Although special mention for Mulgrew. He is our quarter back, all our play either starts with or goes through him at least once.
-
Cook at Wigan unsentimentaly sent Max Power back to the league 1 with Sunderland. I wouldn't mind keeping Smallwood, but he clearly isn't a starter now. It's a good sign Mowbray acted at half time last night.
-
Mulgrew really is key to how we play. If we get all of our good attacking players out, we will cause teams problems. Just lacked it in the final third this evening. Not sure Bell is as good as I hoped he would be. I expected him to take players on a bit more
-
I'm glad I was wrong. Couldn't see it at half time. Thank you Paul McShane
-
Again, I told ye how bad McShane is. Criminal we haven't tested him more
-
Samuel can't even walk off quickly. Hurry up man
-
Bare bones
-
On target...
-
I left out good. Samuel needs to shoot good!
-
Samuel needs to shoot
-
Some great tackling by Evans
-
Told ye McShane is shite
-
What was the sub, missed that

I think it is safe to say that we have no chance of getting back into this. Not with the players available
