I get his point, but we can't be happy with draws now. Firstly and most importantly,it guarantees nothing with regards Mowbrays future. Secondly, it puts us at risk of another trip to league 1. A longer one this time I would imagine. The damage is done anyway, he needs to go. Securing safety is hardly reason for him to make a case to keep his job. He failed with his aims.

Agreed. His body language and demeanour on the field strikes me as the same. Once he's scoring though, who cares. It's a tricky one cos in a way Mowbray has made him, but in many ways he's also holding him back and not helping him.

The major issue with "expected goals" as somehow being a positive for Mowbray, is that it literally highlights our main issue- why didn't we score the bloody goals?? Pointless possession, strikers who can't score (bar 1) and bad decision making in the final third
